Hinweis der Redaktion

  1. We are constantly working on improving public access and provide people with reliable LMI. Response was how easy it was to find good information about Toronto’s labour market; well-organized, accessible, easy to readSectoral approach made it easy to use for job seekers, job developers and others looking for info about Toronto
  2. This section will change frequently as we mine information to populate the website and send out in the e-bulletin. Section includes characteristics of Toronto’s workforce and employment data
  3. Have added 10 key employment sectors or clusters to the site, will add or remove according to labour market informationEach sector includes an industry profile, employment data and research from other sources related to the sector or the economy
  4. Trends affecting workforce development in the City of Toronto are not limited to one sector but instead reach across the economy at large. They are broad-based training needs that stakeholders frequently identify as critical to maintaining and enhancing productivity, equity and prosperity for the workforce at large. Under each trend are the actions TWIG has taken or research on those issues, other research and actions by other organizations on the same issues.
  5. These sections aren’t new but have been reorganized so that the most relevant resources are posted. Our newest resources are in this section as well as posted on the home page.
  6. This feature lets us post our presentations online so that they can be resourced but not copied or changed.
  7. 25 in Ontario, tasked to identify and address local labour market challenges, do this by publishing annual Local Labour Market Update and creating or joining partnerships that address the issues
