• Criticized in 2008 for collecting over $12m in
donations but only contributed a reported
$160k to charitable organizations and causes
to provide aid to developing nations like
Africa, respectively.
– Most of the money went toward paying salaries
and providing promotional gift packages to
government and media organizations
– ONE representatives did not deny this claim, but
withheld the exact amount that was actually
donated in compliance with their mission
