The document describes a 3D GIS prototype project for the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) created by a team from Austin Community College and the City of Austin, in collaboration with Zebra Imaging. The prototype integrated LiDAR data, building models, and base layers into a 3D GIS of the airport to enable applications like 3D visualization, airspace compliance, and historical air traffic analysis. It also describes capturing content from the 3D GIS to create a hologram print for visualization and integration into products. Students are invited to explore 3D GIS further in an upcoming ACC course.
