I feel alone: first, because I know few black women that have studied here in Genoa or Turin; second, because being an activist means having the consciousness of what you are and where you want to go. Unfortunately Italy limits the high places for (…) people (that) are different, especially if you are black(…). That’s why I want to move on again. My mother worked hard to give me a better life and it is impossible here in Italy. I would like (to) live where my rights are really recognized…”
