‘Art of Fashion’ to theme the 2009 Scottsdale Fashion Week
                        November 5, 6 & 7
Established in 2005, Scottsdale Fashion Week has earned national attention
from fashionistas as an exciting event that brings a mix of fashion from both
established and up-and-coming designers for residents and tourists to enjoy.

The Fourth Annual event will consist of a featured tented runway at the
Scottsdale Waterfront that will showcase a selection of leading fashion
designers and tastemakers.

Coinciding with the In-Tent shows, an outdoor runway under the stars
across the Arizona canal at Southbridge will featuring up-and coming
designers.

Complemented by musical entertainment and VIP lounges, attendees will
also be able to experience a showcase of luxury brands.

The Scottsdale Fashion Week district is anchored by Scottsdale Fashion Square
and encompasses Scottsdale Waterfront and SouthBridge.

Showcasing the heart of Scottsdale’s retail and lifestyle district, the three-day
high-energy event will be where designers from around the world converge
to showcase their fashions and celebrate the city’s vibrant fashion community.

In 2008 the total attendance during Scottsdale Fashion Week was 15,000

With its strong retail presence in all parts of the city, Scottsdale has
the highest concentration of retail sales in the state of Arizona. Scottsdale

Scottsdale Fashion Week will develop partnerships with local, regional, national and
international media partners to promote Scottsdale Fashion Week 2009, Scottsdale
as a destination, and Scottsdale Fashion Square District as a shopping and lifestyle
destination. On going partnership development with luxury category brands, and
interaction with lifestyle and fashion media outlets will continue throughout the year.




Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau

Scottsdale Fashion Week will work closely with the Scottsdale Convention &
Visitors Bureau regarding the marketing and media awareness of the event
and Scottsdale. SCVB public relations team distributes monthly and quarterly
e-newsletters to media around the world. The SCVB quarterly niche versions
– arts & architecture, golf, culinary and meetings – are distributed to 300-600
journalists. For the monthly version, more than 3,500 travel writers worldwide
receive the e-newsletters.

The Arizona Republic – az Magazine – azcentral.com
Scottsdale Fashion Week has partnered with the state’s largest news organization,
Republic Media, which will include event promotion and coverage through
The Arizona Republic, Republic Magazines and AZcentral.com to increase
visibility and awareness of this high-fashion event.

This will encompass:
A dynamic three-part feature (a pre, post and event publication) in
az Magazine’s October, November and December issues reaching
158,000 plus readers

         Feature section will include 10 pages:
         (six pages plus a four-page run-way styled gatefold)

An In-Tent style Fashion Show will showcase the designers’
presentations of an 80 foot runway.

Each Show will accommodate 500 invited guests
Tickets required for individual shows - $60 each show.
A daily VIP ticket will be available for $200 each night.

Scottsdale Waterfront

At Scottsdale and Camelback Roads, in the heart of Scottsdale’s vibrant
downtown canal bank district, Scottsdale Waterfront is an upscale, open-
air center that includes fine urban shopping together with luxury lofts and
high-rise residences, and is the charming must-see link between 5th
Avenue and Scottsdale Fashion Square. Scottsdale Waterfront is the
perfect place to dine at fabulous restaurants, shop at unique boutiques
and retails shops, or stroll along the banks of the Arizona Canal.

SouthBridge
Inspired by the likes of Greenwich Village and The French Quarter,
Southbridge uniquely marries an independent spirit with urban
energy and walk-ability. It is a one-of-kind urban village that brings
together exclusive, high-fashion boutiques, independent shops,
internationally renowned cuisine, lively cultural festivals, art,
and the romantic charm of a waterfront park.

Southbridge sits along five-acres on the south side of the Arizona Canal and is located
near Scottsdale and Camelback roads adjacent to the city’s historic center at the heart
of the prized waterfront. The development includes The Mix, which is comprised of stylish
one-of-kind restaurants, trend-setting fashion boutiques and eclectic shops set to bustling
open-air European-style courtyards that thrive with activity day and night.

                  WEARABLE ART WALK 09
Scottsdale Fashion Week will once again be launched with the Wearable
ArtWalk event on Thursday, November 5th
     Opening Presentation ~ 6pm
     Art Walk presentation along Marshall Way 7:00 pm ~ 9:00pm.

Held in association with the Scottsdale Gallery Association, the exciting on-the
-street Milan-Style evening will feature models showcasing notable one-of-kind
pieces of ‘art-to-wear’ clothing and jewelry from nationally and internationally
acclaimed wearable artists.

Over 20 Galleries in three areas – Main Street, Marshall Way and SouthBridge (along
Stetson Ave) will be in the spirit of the evening with provocative shows and exhibits.

Scottsdale Arts District
This arts district consists of two areas – Marshall Way and Main Street – contributing
to Scottsdale’s reputation as a great arts destination. Home to the country’s original
“Art Walk”, this area of Downtown Scottsdale features one of the largest concentrations
of galleries in the country, showcasing artwork ranging from the most traditional to
cutting-edge contemporary. Main Street features an eclectic collection of art, jewelry,
and book stores in addition to shops selling antiques from the West and around the
world. Marshall Way is host to fine art and craft galleries, along with world-renowned
jewelry stores and spas.

         LIFESTYLE SHOWCASE

Centrally located in the Scottsdale Fashion Week event venue, the
Lifestyle Showcase will provide VIP guests and invited attendees an
opportunity to experience a selection of companies representing luxury
category lifestyle brands. Experiential displays will include bespoke tailors,
fine jewelry, watches, hand crafted shows and luxury automobiles. A
lounge area will provides sampling of premium brand scotch and cigars.

      hosted by the award winning InterContinental Montelucia Resort &
      Spa, will present a unique opportunity for VIP guests to meet the
      designers who will be showcasing their creations during the 2009
      Scottsdale Fashion Week.

SCOTTSDALE FASHION WEEK 2009 ‘Art of Fashion’ to theme the 2009 Scottsdale Fashion Week November 5, 6 & 7 Established in 2005, Scottsdale Fashion Week has earned national attention from fashionistas as an exciting event that brings a mix of fashion from both established and up-and-coming designers for residents and tourists to enjoy. The Fourth Annual event will consist of a featured tented runway at the Scottsdale Waterfront that will showcase a selection of leading fashion designers and tastemakers. Coinciding with the In-Tent shows, an outdoor runway under the stars across the Arizona canal at Southbridge will featuring up-and coming designers. Complemented by musical entertainment and VIP lounges, attendees will also be able to experience a showcase of luxury brands. The Scottsdale Fashion Week district is anchored by Scottsdale Fashion Square and encompasses Scottsdale Waterfront and SouthBridge. Showcasing the heart of Scottsdale’s retail and lifestyle district, the three-day high-energy event will be where designers from around the world converge to showcase their fashions and celebrate the city’s vibrant fashion community. SCVB public relations team distributes monthly and quarterly e-newsletters to media around the world. The SCVB quarterly niche versions – arts & architecture, golf, culinary and meetings – are distributed to 300-600 journalists.
