How the Congressional Budget Office Assists Lawmakers
Galvan Foundation's Grant Process
1.
2. As cofounder of the Galvan Foundation,
Timothy (T. Eric) Galloway maintains a
commitment to serving the needs of his
community. Timothy Galloway, also president
of Lantern Organization, has created Galvan
Foundation to support grant funding for
projects that enhance the quality of life in
Hudson, New York.
To support community improvements and
outreach services, Galvan Foundation
distributes tax-exempt grants to organizations in
and around the City of Hudson.
3. Grants support health and social services as
well as cultural and economic programs
that benefit the local community. Grants do
not support individuals, endowments, or
projects that extend beyond the Hudson
area.
Grantees may receive single-year or
multiyear funding. Recipients of multiyear
grant must submit a progress report
annually that presents a budget and
financial statement as well as the activities
that the grant has funded.
4. To apply, an organization may submit a
two-page cover letter that delineates
the project's scope, objective, and
purpose. The application must also
include a proposal that sets forth in
detail the program and its budget and
the applicant's qualifications to execute
the program.
