Key Players
• The event was organised primarily by Dawn Newton
  (Time and Talents), Cliff Wilton (SWAN) and Ella Mutch
  (Microsoft); with help from Laura Coppola, along with
  Vilmos Loo and Sarah Jones (all Microsoft).
• Stephen D’Souza (university lecturer & author of ‘Brilliant
  Networking’) hosted the event, with Microsoft
  facilitating it.
• James Hayre (Microsoft Advertising) and Simon Gill (LBi)
  both guest presented at the event.

The Bake Sale
• In order to build up awareness for the event,
  Microsoft held a ‘Bake-Off’ amongst the interns
  on each floor of the building. When buying a
  cake you could choose which CrowdfundSW1
  charity to give your donation to.

• The sale raised nearly £200 which will be
  doubled by Microsoft.

Promotion
• As well as the Bake-Off, the event was promoted
  internally in Microsoft through a few
  promotional emails.

• The event was also promoted by the charities
  who attended, and through Time & Talents.

Feedback – Significant Wins

Feedback – Significant Wins
Below are a few responses people had when asked what should be
improved:
•    Nothing!
•    The people bingo with food in 25 mins felt a little bit rushed, otherwise the
     organisation was brilliant.

Other comments include:
•    Well done SWAN - great innovation at times of change. Good luck with it.
•    Great space and hospitality. Efficiently run. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you.
•    Thank you for arranging the Crowdfund SW1 event.
•    Very impressed by the innovative Crowdfunding approach that SWAN et al have
     developed to find alternative ways of continuing their work in the community – well
     done! It was a thoroughly enjoyable and engaging event. Really good to see Microsoft
     getting behind such an important initiative too - a good example
     of ‘everyone doing their bit’.

Key Players • The event was organised primarily by Dawn Newton (Time and Talents), Cliff Wilton (SWAN) and Ella Mutch (Microsoft); with help from Laura Coppola, along with Vilmos Loo and Sarah Jones (all Microsoft). • Stephen D’Souza (university lecturer & author of ‘Brilliant Networking’) hosted the event, with Microsoft facilitating it. • James Hayre (Microsoft Advertising) and Simon Gill (LBi) both guest presented at the event.   • 4. The Bake Sale • In order to build up awareness for the event, Microsoft held a ‘Bake-Off’ amongst the interns on each floor of the building.
