Memorable Moments Research Paper
One of my memorable moments would be the day I found out I was pregant! I actually didn't find
out till I was about 4 months. When I went to the Dr. office to confim my pregancy and it came to
be positive, I was just in total shock because I actually never thought that at 19 years old going on
to 20, I would be having a baby. I had mixed feelings. I was sad, overwhemled, but I was also
honestly very excited. I was carrying a little person inside my womb.Right after about 1 week
after I found out about my pregancy, I had my very first appointment to check on how the baby
was doing. After anxiously awaiting, it was my turn to go inside and find out how the baby was
doing and also finding out the sex of the baby was very exciting. Once I walked...show more

I was scared because I couldn't believe that this moment was actually happening. A couple hours
passed by and I started to feel the urgency to push. The lovely nurse got the doctor for me and told
him that I was ready to have the baby. As I was in labor, all I could think about was the pain and
how I really needed my mother there, but she wasn't allowed to go in. While I was in labor, I
started to feel very dizzy and I started to see the room turning dark. I was telling the doctors, my
boyfriend, and the nurses in the room that I couldn't do it, but everyone in that room was very
supportive and motivated me to keep trying and right before I knew it, my son was born. The
nurse asked if I wanted to hold right as he was born and just by holding him and seeing him for
the very first time he is exactly how I imagined him. As soon I was ready to get released from the
hospital, the nurse had told me that me and my son were ready to go. The nurse came back with
some of the worst news I could possibly get. She had told me that my son wasn't going to be able
come with me because he had stopped breathing in the car seat and that his face had turned
puruple.Once she told me that news I left like someone had ripped my heart

My Most Memorable Experience
My most memorable moment where we were playing a review game were you have to shoot a
basket to score points, and Liam went to shoot a basket and you smacked it right out of his hands
then proceed to dab. This memory I feel like perfectly describes your personality you can be so
funny and so lighthearted but still teach which is great. When the school year began I was
excited and not at all nervous. But, in the beginning of the year knowing it was my last year of
middle school I was actually sad after four years (I went to a different school) it was all coming to an
end. I was mostly really pumped because last year at the pep rally seeing you dance made me say "I
want Mr. Jones as my teacher next year" , so much so, you could ask any one of my friends and
they would tell you how I would say that all the time last year. 8th grade World History was a fun
experience because of the activities and games we did throughout the year. Also, the people in our
class and of course, having you as a teacher.
We learned multiple different unit's this year and it is hard to pick a favorite, my favorite unit
however this year was Life in Medieval Towns. I enjoyed this unit because, I thought it was
extremely interesting learning about the way people used to live during a time period long ago. The
unit especially caught my attention because, learning about what people did for work or what their
houses looked like really intrigued me. Another reason I enjoyed this unit was, that you seemed so

My Most Memorable School Years Of My Life
Fourth grade, one of my most memorable school years of my life, it was there where I changed
my study habitats and made an important life decision. Elementary was as everyone the best of
times of my life school wasn't much of a bother, I had no worries and lunch was the best. I started
school late so when I actually started I went in with my brother and it was with him that I noticed
a difference between his ability to learn and mine. He always struggled with school but I always
found school work easy and hardly ever had difficulty. I recall in first grade my teacher would read
these series of books called Junie B. Jones and wow how I was hooked, the whole class would beg
her to read more and more that once I went to second grade I like t...show more content...
I can't speak for everyone but my class had a schedule for the day and from 9–12 was math which
meant was my time to shine. In third grade we were introduced to mental math and from there on
out, I used mental math as many times as possible.I didn't like wasting so much space when
doing math, to think of it I must've seemed crazy because we would use a small notebook
provided for us and once I was done with it instead of getting a new a would go back and look for
empty spaces to cram more answers writing answers sideways going in circles looking like a
maniac. Since I would finished quick I would bored spending more that half the dedicated time
doing nothing or helping others until I noticed that the same old Macs that we had in back that I
would use after school and sometimes recess were empty so I would ask the teacher if I could use
them and she would let so I had a purpose to finish my math even faster. Everyone knew I was the
smartest in the class but since the first grade there was this girl called Monica who was smart too
and we had like a rivalry of course there was other smart kids but it was always between me and her
among the top 2. So as I was saying we always had this rivalry thing going on, every year prior to
that was me and sometimes her who would be elected to go represent

My Memorable Experience
When I think about an event that is memorable it is quite hard to just pick one. I feel that in my
short eighteen years of life there were so many things that stood out to me. One trip I can play back
in my mind perfectly as if it happened yesterday was my first trip to Disney. My bestfriend and her
dance studio invited me to go to a dance convention in Orlando. A dance convention is an event
where professional dancers from all over the United States come and congregate in one enormous
hotel ballroom and teach different styles of dance to all the small town studios who chose to join
them. We chose to plan a short trip to Disney since we were in the area already. I can remember
being barely able to contain my excitement the whole week prior to the trip, and, the drive to
Orlando. Once we arrived at the hotel that Thursday night we all unpacked and went straight to bed
in preparation for the long day ahead of us. Six a.m came early that next morning but, none of the
group showed any signs of being tired. We had a group of about twenty adults and children. The
adults wore teal t–shirts with Minnie–Mouse on the back, while the smaller girls wore hot pink
t–shirts with Minnie on the back in order to keep up with our large group. We struck out to the
park around 7:30 that morning since the park actually opened at 9. Our group was one of the first
few people at the gate waiting. We got our tickets and when the gates opened it was like a flood,
people pouring in like water from a

My Most Memorable Experience In Life
I have rarely thought about my so–called memorable experience in life. Since there are a lot of
things that needs to be done now and also in the future, to me, it's quite hard to write about this
topic and it took me a lot of time recalling what have happened in my life, what the memorable
experience were and what the most memorable one was. Finally, I realized that a memorable
experience is not only a significant event like getting a job, what you got for your birthday, or
getting a car. For me my most memorable experience in my lifetime was my first big trip. The
reason for picking this was, I was sitting in my couch trying to think of something to write about
and could not think of anything else. All of a sudden it came to me. The only thing which I could
remember a lot is my mom and I's migration to Hawaii from the Philippines. Since I was 9 years
old, I had a dream of coming to the U.S. I was attracted to what I watched in TV movies about
American life and the great culture. Somehow, it was meant to be. I am here for many reasons.
"Hawaiian Airlines flight 449 departing from Gate 18 is now boarding, first class passengers
please come forward with your boarding passes," called out the air stewardess on my last day. At
that moment, since I was 10, I did not know any better. "My last day" to me was leaving behind my
friends, my life, my school, and my country. At that moment, I did not know the emotions that were
flowing within my body. But the good thing is that I was

My Most Memorable Experience In College
My first semester here at Albright College is definitely one that I'm going to remember. Although
it has gone by way too fast, a lot of hilarious and great memories were made, mostly with the
people who are in my First Year Seminar class/POP group. Not only did I make amazing memories,
but I have also changed a bit and even learned more about myself. In addition, I have made quite a
few accomplishments, personal and academic since my midterm reflection. In the beginning of the
semester, I came up with a long–term goal which was partially completed throughout the semester.
My most memorable experience this semester would have to be POPs weekend because that is the
reason Kaitlyn and I have become so close, as well as Brian and Patinno....show more content...
I have learned things about myself along with things in general. When I was living at home, my
mom likes to have things done her way. As a result of this somewhat stubborn trait, which I
obtained from her, she wouldn't let me do my laundry because she thought I would ruin the
washer or something, I don't even know. Therefore, I learned how to do my own laundry since
living on my own, which really isn't difficult at all. Something surprising I learned about myself
is that I'm not as shy as I always thought I was. It used to be hard for me to open up and make
many friends when I was younger. But now, I made several friends the first weekend here, thanks
to POPs. I have had a couple of successes during this semester, personal and academic. I remember
getting a low grade on my first chemistry exam this semester, and I stated in my midterm
reflection that a goal I had was to get better grades on the next chemistry exams. Luckily and to
my surprise, I got fairly high scores on the last two tests. During POPs weekends, everyone had to
write down a first semester personal goal and put them in an envelope. I don't remember too well,
but I'm almost positive that I wrote down that my goal was to make good friends during the course
of the semester. Fortunately, I accomplished this goal and made very good friends with some the
very first people I met on welcoming weekend. For my midterm reflection

Memorable Moments
First, my memorable and valuable experience in college has allowed me the chance to be able to
sharpen my study skills in my chosen field. There have been opportunities for me to learn and
improve my skills through my time in college, which I am very thankful and happy about. For
example, at my school, in the Writing Center, I have learned some writing tips that I didn't even
know existed, and had this not been a part of my experience I would still be unaware. Because of
this, despite what I was thinking, I still had quite a bit to learn; but this has given me the chance
to improve my craft more through attending school, as well as give me a lot more confidence in
the area that I plan to study towards. And as a result, some day I will have a rewarding career from

unfamiliar with, religions of Islam and Buddhism, that beforehand I had no knowledge of. From this
experience, I have learned a lot of things about these cultures that were very interesting and how
the religions are followed. Also, learning about all the different practices and ideas of the religions
in different parts of the world, such as worshipping multiple deities, reincarnation, and meditation,
has been memorable to me because of its value, and all the misconceptions that are cleared up now
that I once had, which has enabled me to understand the topic better and be less ignorant. It has also
helped me understand traditions and beliefs of others more clear, no matter where in the world of
their origin. This has made my time as a student a lot more memorable, worthwhile, and

The Most Memorable Days Of My Life
"It'll all be fine" I kept telling myself throughout one of the most memorable days of my life. I had
been training for my "Open Water Certificate" in order to be able to dive 18 meters: opening up
my eyes to a whole new world under the water. A series of turn in events made what I had
expected to be a pleasant experience, similar to my previous dives, turned into one of the most
tormenting experiences of my life. An important event in one's life can transpire to create
emotional, or physical scars which teach one to trust their instincts, and learn when it is appropriate
to be assertive. My trainer, Assad, said that the other boat was too crowded, and even though me
and partner, James, were booked to go on that scuba trip, he said it'd be more enjoyable if he take
another boat just the three of us. We packed up the boat with all the necessary equipment and an
excessive amount of refreshments to quench our relentless thirst that consumes you in the 43ВєC
heat of the summer Arabian sun. Assad also said he would prefer to not do the long boat ride we
had previously scheduled, and instead we could explore a closer dive site, even though he, nor
anyone in the dive school had ever tested it before. We anchored the boat, and began the detailed
process of assembling our equipment, something we had practiced exactly twelve times in the weeks
before, so we were well experienced. Then came putting on our wetsuits, when I found out my
instructor had brought along the wrong one,

My Most Memorable Experience In My Life
My heart was pounding out of my chest as I walked through the frigid, pitch–black forest alone. I
could hear was the sound of the night wind blowing against the trees, crickets chirping in the tall
grass all around me, the stream flowing peacefully on my right, and my unsteady breath, which
seemed like the loudest. I walked, step by step, along a path I could barely make out. Am I going
off the trail? I questioned myself, and kept walking through the silent forest. I was on my first, and
only solo–night hike in Yellowstone, Wyoming. This was a night that I will remember forever.
Over the summer, I took a trip to Yellowstone, Wyoming with thirty
–eight other eighth graders and
high schoolers. The trip lasted almost two weeks and was one of the most memorable experiences in
my life, but there was one night that impacts me every single day since. On the third night that we
were staying at our campsite, my friends and I were getting ready for bed and hanging out around the
bonfire when the camp counselors made an announcement.
"Everyone meet at the bonfire at 10:30 and bring nothing with you. No backpacks, phones,
flashlights, absolutely nothing. Dress warm because it's going to be cold tonight!" announced Miss
Flower, one of the counselors.
My friends and I looked at each other, confused. What were we going to do? Where are we going?
What is going on? There were so many questions overfilling our minds, that none of the
counselors would answer. Time seemed to pass so slowly as we waited for an hour until we were
supposed to meet. No one had any idea what was going on, or what the night was going to hold.
When it was finally time, we hurried over to the bonfire to figure out what was happening. We were
shocked when Miss Flower just told us to just follow her and the other counselors down the dirt road
by our tents. She didn't answer any questions, where we going, what we were doing, absolutely
nothing.
We followed the counselors down the path, which led us to a one–lane highway. Everyone crossed
quickly, even though there were no cars to be seen. There were no lights anywhere, except the soft
illumination from the stars above us. After crossing the highway, we walked in tallgrass for a few
minutes which

My Memorable Experience
I love learning in school. But sadly, I ended up having a rough time at the end of my senior year. I
moved to Oklahoma from Illinois before I finished the last year of high school, and after I move it
was hard to get adjusted to a new school. I hope you enjoy my essay!
Let's start off with the pleasant experience I had in my past education, health careers. I was really
good in this class. Health careers was a class that taught me about diseases, CPR, and much more.
We had many projects and activities. One of the projects I remember I did and felt so proud of. It
was the kidney I sculpted. My teacher gave me an A+ for putting a lot of effort into it. My
teacher loved it to the part she asked me if she can keep it as a reference for future students. It
made me really happy and of course, I said yes, what an honor for me that she is going to use my
work as a good example for future students.
My unpleasant experience was a history class. I'm not really a history person, but I worked so
hard to pass the class. I had a lot of problems going in front of my class and presenting the projects
the teachers assigned to us during class. I am really a shy person, and when I am in front of many
people I get really stressed out and I start to mess up on words and talk differently. But thanks to
my husband he was able to help me raise my confidence and break this habit, now I can to hold a
conversation with people without stressing out. I ended up passing the class with a C, I worked so

The Fall
In my life there have been many moments and instances which have really impacted me to

as the time I hit my head on the door and had to be administered to the hospital is a bit more
memorable. This thing they have in common though I the fact that they are had changed my life in
one way or another. One of the most memorable moments of my life is the first time that I wrote a

I have dyslexia. Sometimes it's hard to read or spell out loud. Reading is something that is at times
difficult to understand, because of misinterpretations, yet I love to become immersed in a
well–written novel. Having that said I have had several experiences where reading has helped me to
become a better writer. When writing I tend to lack an ability to keep my writer interested. The more
I have read, the more I have found new ways to keep my readers entwined to what I want to say
when using tone or writing style. By reading many books I have found new ways to make my
writing exceptional. My most memorable experience started my first day of my Junior–Senior year. I

I had to pull my teacher to the side. I wanted to understand the books so I needed to listen to my
music. I explained to her my dyslexia and how I coped with it so that I could understand the
books that we read in class, she understood my struggles and helped me by letting me discretely
listen to music without any of my other classmates catching me doing it. With the music, I could
read books and not have difficulty understanding the words. I became one of the fastest readers in
her class, I bulldozed through the books that I had written down on my someday list. I came to a
point where I didn't have any more books that I was interested in reading until my teacher started to
give me suggestions on books that I should read. She had found that in one of the essays I wrote, I
would use the influences from the books I read to catch my reader's attention, I would make my
writing more interesting by using different writing techniques that I learned from reading these
books.
I began to read these books that Ms. Rasheed recommended for me and I found that the various
genres and writing styles that were included in these books were appealing to a reader as

HAWAII: This trip meant the world to me, even though I was two when it happened. This trip
was to Hawaii. Now the actual trip on the airplane was about a 7 hour flight, and according to my
mom I was pretty well behaved , being two. Everyday I could remember walking across the beach
with my family and my cousins. Especially, my mom. She taught me to be respectful to everyone,
in spite of their faults. This is because I have my faults too. Also, the amazing day on that trip when

January 2017. Mt dog Kita had been with us for 10 years, that January 4. But only a couple days
later, she started to get very sick. She would throw up after anything she ate, and she could barely
walk as she grew to become very weak. It was hard taking her to the vet that morning, because it
was the day I had to come to school. Sitting there watching her on the floor breathing very fast
made my heart break a little bit more every second. It was terrible having to watch her suffer like
that. We had to leave her for the day so the vets could run tests. But that night when we came
back, she didn't look like the beautiful, happy, caring dog that we had at home. She was suffering
and we knew it. When the vet came back in we had to make a decision, and that decision was to
put her down. I couldn't watch her go that easily, but I knew soon that she would be in a better
place. When they stuck the syringe in her, a part of me felt lost. She had been with me my whole
life. I saw her lay there on the floor, I sat right next to her.

Essay about A Memorable Time in My Life
My story is about my friend and I who one day came up with an idea to entertain ourselves. To be
frank, it wasn't the safest idea. Nor the smartest. But we were at an age where life was at our peril.
We hardly ever had any homework and our parents thought we were too innocent to punish us if we
came home from school late. So we considered this to be the perfect time for some refreshing fun. I
learned a lot from a participation which I initially thought was simply about having a good time. In
one sense I did have a good time but it was over roared by a pretty hefty consequence. My
overriding regret is substantial and can never be amended. I was relieved slightly with lessons
which a real life undertaking like this only could of taught me....show more content...
We looked at each other. Our faces told their own story. We had both been given huge lift by this.
I'd never experienced such an instantaneous feeling of pure energy in my life. The endorphin's
were sky high. I'm sure he felt the same way cause if he didn't there was something wrong with
him. That's how good it was. We had to do another one by the end of the day. We did and it was
equally spectacular. Instead this time of desperately 'boltin it' we were more confident and
composed is was more like a fast jog with time left over to swagger out the driveway to the sound of
a hot–tempered old woman shouting''get out or I'Il phone the police". My friend and I were both
enjoying this as we had never experienced this action packed side of life before. It was like we
were emulating the great actors from all the best action movies. Taking on the same
inconcievable tasks and against all the odds, some how finding a escape unscathed or undetected.
But aside of all the glossy acts of heroism or bravery that these stories provide, a simpler and more
down to earth story stood out and illuminated my senses to the wrong I was undertaking. ''The
bad, nasty people who steal, hurt, vandalise or TRESSPASS always get in big trouble in the end.'' I
learned that when I was five and understood it then. I had ignored the rule and I feared the worst

The Most Memorable Writing Experience
Most Memorable Writing Experience: My Reflection on Writing I have been writing since I have
been in Middle School. I have realized that by college it was easier for me to write down my
thoughts in order for me to remember what I have said or done. Writing out my thoughts gives
me a sense of recollection, knowledge, and pacification that gets me through my day. I pictured
writing to be as simple as jotting down a few sentences, but as I got farther in school I realized
that there is more to it than just writing sentences. English has been my most difficult subject I
have ever endured, but I have somehow been managing to make excellent grades and achieving
all requirements. First in the essay, I will discuss my experiences in the English life that I've
taken so far up until college. The second part will list my struggles in creating a thesis, a work
cited, and properly citing my sources used in the papers. My experience with English has
changed drastically from middle school to college. Being in middle school I have really had to
do much of a big paper, but as I progressed through college I've realized there much more that has
to be added. I had always wondered why middle school was so easy but as years went on, I
realized that advancing to college there's a lot more requirements and importance to writing. In
middle school, I was young and just starting to really realize what an essay was and after high
school I really understood what an essay consists of. No matter how

One of most memorable experience When I was 12 years old I used to work in a pets store. I start

I have to be at least 18 years old to apply for a job. Lucky me, my friend's mom was an owner of a

for my own good they finally let me work. My friend was so happy that I was going to work with

The Most Memorable Experience In My Life
There are scary moments in our lives that we as humans must endure and take in. One of the most
memorable bus experiences in my life happened when I least expected it to. It was around ten–o–
clock at night and my boyfriend and I were heading to the bus station in Emporia, Virginia to be sent
off on a bus to Lubbock, Texas. Never in my mind did it ever cross me to think thatbus stations were
gross and full of people who seemed threatening and intimidating. Nor the bus rides to be crammed,
smelly, and uncomfortable.
It all started in the month of July, my boyfriend and I were preparing to get on a bus to leave for
Lubbock, Texas from having spent two weeks in Virginia with my mother. I was so excited because
I had never been on a trip that far before without an adult accompanying me. It was a two–day drive
and considering that the brochures for the greyhound buses said that the buses were amazing and
filled with super comfy seats and great people who are always available to help you if you need it
made me feel great about taking the bus. But as soon as we boarded the bus, the other passengers
instantly had negative and rude comments towards my boyfriend and I. The bus reeked of pee and
the floors were so dirty that every time I stepped my shoe stuck to the floor. The windows were
covered in gum, trash, and were sticky from drinks being spilled all over them. We both took our
seat trying to ignore everyone and everything that was bothering.
Once the bus took off I

Memorable Experience Essay
Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from
being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones
that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my
drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I
received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received
from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never
forget. Just knowing that I had a drivers' license made me feel so free, as free as a bird flying in the
open sky with no real place to go, just a desire to be...show more content...
Driving fast in a car may be unsafe but the thrill and excitement of high rates of speed gave me a
rush I had never felt before. Seeing, feeling and hearing everything go by faster made the whole
driving experience so much better. My mouth watered with envy as I approached the drivers' seat
every time I went out for a drive. The automobile, as a whole, became a high interest of mine; the
styling, the sound and the speed of it. I loved driving and I loved cars and all of this new found
love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a
broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was
the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new
beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of
driving has dulled significantly since I receive many traffic tickets and went through a period of
license suspension. But, still, that day remains the best day of my life. The day I received my
drivers' license will never be forgotten for as long as I

Memorable Experience Essay Example

  • 1. Memorable Moments Research Paper One of my memorable moments would be the day I found out I was pregant! I actually didn't find out till I was about 4 months. When I went to the Dr. office to confim my pregancy and it came to be positive, I was just in total shock because I actually never thought that at 19 years old going on to 20, I would be having a baby. I had mixed feelings. I was sad, overwhemled, but I was also honestly very excited. I was carrying a little person inside my womb.Right after about 1 week after I found out about my pregancy, I had my very first appointment to check on how the baby was doing. After anxiously awaiting, it was my turn to go inside and find out how the baby was doing and also finding out the sex of the baby was very exciting. Once I walked...show more content... I was scared because I couldn't believe that this moment was actually happening. A couple hours passed by and I started to feel the urgency to push. The lovely nurse got the doctor for me and told him that I was ready to have the baby. As I was in labor, all I could think about was the pain and how I really needed my mother there, but she wasn't allowed to go in. While I was in labor, I started to feel very dizzy and I started to see the room turning dark. I was telling the doctors, my boyfriend, and the nurses in the room that I couldn't do it, but everyone in that room was very supportive and motivated me to keep trying and right before I knew it, my son was born. The nurse asked if I wanted to hold right as he was born and just by holding him and seeing him for the very first time he is exactly how I imagined him. As soon I was ready to get released from the hospital, the nurse had told me that me and my son were ready to go. The nurse came back with some of the worst news I could possibly get. She had told me that my son wasn't going to be able come with me because he had stopped breathing in the car seat and that his face had turned puruple.Once she told me that news I left like someone had ripped my heart Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Most Memorable Experience My most memorable moment where we were playing a review game were you have to shoot a basket to score points, and Liam went to shoot a basket and you smacked it right out of his hands then proceed to dab. This memory I feel like perfectly describes your personality you can be so funny and so lighthearted but still teach which is great. When the school year began I was excited and not at all nervous. But, in the beginning of the year knowing it was my last year of middle school I was actually sad after four years (I went to a different school) it was all coming to an end. I was mostly really pumped because last year at the pep rally seeing you dance made me say "I want Mr. Jones as my teacher next year" , so much so, you could ask any one of my friends and they would tell you how I would say that all the time last year. 8th grade World History was a fun experience because of the activities and games we did throughout the year. Also, the people in our class and of course, having you as a teacher. We learned multiple different unit's this year and it is hard to pick a favorite, my favorite unit however this year was Life in Medieval Towns. I enjoyed this unit because, I thought it was extremely interesting learning about the way people used to live during a time period long ago. The unit especially caught my attention because, learning about what people did for work or what their houses looked like really intrigued me. Another reason I enjoyed this unit was, that you seemed so Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Most Memorable School Years Of My Life Fourth grade, one of my most memorable school years of my life, it was there where I changed my study habitats and made an important life decision. Elementary was as everyone the best of times of my life school wasn't much of a bother, I had no worries and lunch was the best. I started school late so when I actually started I went in with my brother and it was with him that I noticed a difference between his ability to learn and mine. He always struggled with school but I always found school work easy and hardly ever had difficulty. I recall in first grade my teacher would read these series of books called Junie B. Jones and wow how I was hooked, the whole class would beg her to read more and more that once I went to second grade I like t...show more content... I can't speak for everyone but my class had a schedule for the day and from 9–12 was math which meant was my time to shine. In third grade we were introduced to mental math and from there on out, I used mental math as many times as possible.I didn't like wasting so much space when doing math, to think of it I must've seemed crazy because we would use a small notebook provided for us and once I was done with it instead of getting a new a would go back and look for empty spaces to cram more answers writing answers sideways going in circles looking like a maniac. Since I would finished quick I would bored spending more that half the dedicated time doing nothing or helping others until I noticed that the same old Macs that we had in back that I would use after school and sometimes recess were empty so I would ask the teacher if I could use them and she would let so I had a purpose to finish my math even faster. Everyone knew I was the smartest in the class but since the first grade there was this girl called Monica who was smart too and we had like a rivalry of course there was other smart kids but it was always between me and her among the top 2. So as I was saying we always had this rivalry thing going on, every year prior to that was me and sometimes her who would be elected to go represent Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Memorable Experience When I think about an event that is memorable it is quite hard to just pick one. I feel that in my short eighteen years of life there were so many things that stood out to me. One trip I can play back in my mind perfectly as if it happened yesterday was my first trip to Disney. My bestfriend and her dance studio invited me to go to a dance convention in Orlando. A dance convention is an event where professional dancers from all over the United States come and congregate in one enormous hotel ballroom and teach different styles of dance to all the small town studios who chose to join them. We chose to plan a short trip to Disney since we were in the area already. I can remember being barely able to contain my excitement the whole week prior to the trip, and, the drive to Orlando. Once we arrived at the hotel that Thursday night we all unpacked and went straight to bed in preparation for the long day ahead of us. Six a.m came early that next morning but, none of the group showed any signs of being tired. We had a group of about twenty adults and children. The adults wore teal t–shirts with Minnie–Mouse on the back, while the smaller girls wore hot pink t–shirts with Minnie on the back in order to keep up with our large group. We struck out to the park around 7:30 that morning since the park actually opened at 9. Our group was one of the first few people at the gate waiting. We got our tickets and when the gates opened it was like a flood, people pouring in like water from a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Most Memorable Experience In Life I have rarely thought about my so–called memorable experience in life. Since there are a lot of things that needs to be done now and also in the future, to me, it's quite hard to write about this topic and it took me a lot of time recalling what have happened in my life, what the memorable experience were and what the most memorable one was. Finally, I realized that a memorable experience is not only a significant event like getting a job, what you got for your birthday, or getting a car. For me my most memorable experience in my lifetime was my first big trip. The reason for picking this was, I was sitting in my couch trying to think of something to write about and could not think of anything else. All of a sudden it came to me. The only thing which I could remember a lot is my mom and I's migration to Hawaii from the Philippines. Since I was 9 years old, I had a dream of coming to the U.S. I was attracted to what I watched in TV movies about American life and the great culture. Somehow, it was meant to be. I am here for many reasons. "Hawaiian Airlines flight 449 departing from Gate 18 is now boarding, first class passengers please come forward with your boarding passes," called out the air stewardess on my last day. At that moment, since I was 10, I did not know any better. "My last day" to me was leaving behind my friends, my life, my school, and my country. At that moment, I did not know the emotions that were flowing within my body. But the good thing is that I was Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. My Most Memorable Experience In College My first semester here at Albright College is definitely one that I'm going to remember. Although it has gone by way too fast, a lot of hilarious and great memories were made, mostly with the people who are in my First Year Seminar class/POP group. Not only did I make amazing memories, but I have also changed a bit and even learned more about myself. In addition, I have made quite a few accomplishments, personal and academic since my midterm reflection. In the beginning of the semester, I came up with a long–term goal which was partially completed throughout the semester. My most memorable experience this semester would have to be POPs weekend because that is the reason Kaitlyn and I have become so close, as well as Brian and Patinno....show more content... I have learned things about myself along with things in general. When I was living at home, my mom likes to have things done her way. As a result of this somewhat stubborn trait, which I obtained from her, she wouldn't let me do my laundry because she thought I would ruin the washer or something, I don't even know. Therefore, I learned how to do my own laundry since living on my own, which really isn't difficult at all. Something surprising I learned about myself is that I'm not as shy as I always thought I was. It used to be hard for me to open up and make many friends when I was younger. But now, I made several friends the first weekend here, thanks to POPs. I have had a couple of successes during this semester, personal and academic. I remember getting a low grade on my first chemistry exam this semester, and I stated in my midterm reflection that a goal I had was to get better grades on the next chemistry exams. Luckily and to my surprise, I got fairly high scores on the last two tests. During POPs weekends, everyone had to write down a first semester personal goal and put them in an envelope. I don't remember too well, but I'm almost positive that I wrote down that my goal was to make good friends during the course of the semester. Fortunately, I accomplished this goal and made very good friends with some the very first people I met on welcoming weekend. For my midterm reflection Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Examples Of A Memorable Experience Essay Memorable Moments First, my memorable and valuable experience in college has allowed me the chance to be able to sharpen my study skills in my chosen field. There have been opportunities for me to learn and improve my skills through my time in college, which I am very thankful and happy about. For example, at my school, in the Writing Center, I have learned some writing tips that I didn't even know existed, and had this not been a part of my experience I would still be unaware. Because of this, despite what I was thinking, I still had quite a bit to learn; but this has given me the chance to improve my craft more through attending school, as well as give me a lot more confidence in the area that I plan to study towards. From this experience, I have learned a lot of things about these cultures that were very interesting and how the religions are followed. Also, learning about all the different practices and ideas of the religions in different parts of the world, such as worshipping multiple deities, reincarnation, and meditation, has been memorable to me because of its value, and all the misconceptions that are cleared up now that I once had, which has enabled me to understand the topic better and be less ignorant. It has also helped me understand traditions and beliefs of others more clear, no matter where in the world of their origin. • 8. The Most Memorable Days Of My Life "It'll all be fine" I kept telling myself throughout one of the most memorable days of my life. I had been training for my "Open Water Certificate" in order to be able to dive 18 meters: opening up my eyes to a whole new world under the water. A series of turn in events made what I had expected to be a pleasant experience, similar to my previous dives, turned into one of the most tormenting experiences of my life. An important event in one's life can transpire to create emotional, or physical scars which teach one to trust their instincts, and learn when it is appropriate to be assertive. My trainer, Assad, said that the other boat was too crowded, and even though me and partner, James, were booked to go on that scuba trip, he said it'd be more enjoyable if he take another boat just the three of us. We packed up the boat with all the necessary equipment and an excessive amount of refreshments to quench our relentless thirst that consumes you in the 43ВєC heat of the summer Arabian sun. Assad also said he would prefer to not do the long boat ride we had previously scheduled, and instead we could explore a closer dive site, even though he, nor anyone in the dive school had ever tested it before. We anchored the boat, and began the detailed process of assembling our equipment, something we had practiced exactly twelve times in the weeks before, so we were well experienced. Then came putting on our wetsuits, when I found out my instructor had brought along the wrong one, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 10. My Most Memorable Experience In My Life My heart was pounding out of my chest as I walked through the frigid, pitch–black forest alone. I could hear was the sound of the night wind blowing against the trees, crickets chirping in the tall grass all around me, the stream flowing peacefully on my right, and my unsteady breath, which seemed like the loudest. I walked, step by step, along a path I could barely make out. Am I going off the trail? I questioned myself, and kept walking through the silent forest. I was on my first, and only solo–night hike in Yellowstone, Wyoming. This was a night that I will remember forever. Over the summer, I took a trip to Yellowstone, Wyoming with thirty –eight other eighth graders and high schoolers. The trip lasted almost two weeks and was one of the most memorable experiences in my life, but there was one night that impacts me every single day since. On the third night that we were staying at our campsite, my friends and I were getting ready for bed and hanging out around the bonfire when the camp counselors made an announcement. "Everyone meet at the bonfire at 10:30 and bring nothing with you. No backpacks, phones, flashlights, absolutely nothing. Dress warm because it's going to be cold tonight!" announced Miss Flower, one of the counselors. My friends and I looked at each other, confused. What were we going to do? Where are we going? What is going on? There were so many questions overfilling our minds, that none of the counselors would answer. Time seemed to pass so slowly as we waited for an hour until we were supposed to meet. No one had any idea what was going on, or what the night was going to hold. When it was finally time, we hurried over to the bonfire to figure out what was happening. We were shocked when Miss Flower just told us to just follow her and the other counselors down the dirt road by our tents. She didn't answer any questions, where we going, what we were doing, absolutely nothing. We followed the counselors down the path, which led us to a one–lane highway. Everyone crossed quickly, even though there were no cars to be seen. There were no lights anywhere, except the soft illumination from the stars above us. After crossing the highway, we walked in tallgrass for a few minutes which Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I moved to Oklahoma from Illinois before I finished the last year of high school, and after I move it was hard to get adjusted to a new school. I hope you enjoy my essay! Let's start off with the pleasant experience I had in my past education, health careers. I was really good in this class. Health careers was a class that taught me about diseases, CPR, and much more. We had many projects and activities. One of the projects I remember I did and felt so proud of. It was the kidney I sculpted. My teacher gave me an A+ for putting a lot of effort into it. My teacher loved it to the part she asked me if she can keep it as a reference for future students. It made me really happy and of course, I said yes, what an honor for me that she is going to use my work as a good example for future students. My unpleasant experience was a history class. I'm not really a history person, but I worked so hard to pass the class. I had a lot of problems going in front of my class and presenting the projects the teachers assigned to us during class. I am really a shy person, and when I am in front of many people I get really stressed out and I start to mess up on words and talk differently. But thanks to my husband he was able to help me raise my confidence and break this habit, now I can to hold a conversation with people without stressing out. I ended up passing the class with a C, I worked so Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Some might be as mediocre as my first shot at cooking, while others such as the time I hit my head on the door and had to be administered to the hospital is a bit more memorable. This thing they have in common though I the fact that they are had changed my life in one way or another. One of the most memorable moments of my life is the first time that I wrote a bike. • 13. My Most Memorable Experience I have dyslexia. Sometimes it's hard to read or spell out loud. Reading is something that is at times difficult to understand, because of misinterpretations, yet I love to become immersed in a well–written novel. Having that said I have had several experiences where reading has helped me to become a better writer. When writing I tend to lack an ability to keep my writer interested. The more I have read, the more I have found new ways to keep my readers entwined to what I want to say when using tone or writing style. By reading many books I have found new ways to make my writing exceptional. My most memorable experience started my first day of my Junior–Senior year. I walked into class with my small group of friends and the teacher that...show more content... The one aide that I would use to understand the reading was prohibited in my English class. I felt miserable because I could finish the book, but if you asked me to explain what I read I would just get confused and frustrated. I had to pull my teacher to the side. I wanted to understand the books so I needed to listen to my music. I explained to her my dyslexia and how I coped with it so that I could understand the books that we read in class, she understood my struggles and helped me by letting me discretely listen to music without any of my other classmates catching me doing it. With the music, I could read books and not have difficulty understanding the words. I became one of the fastest readers in her class, I bulldozed through the books that I had written down on my someday list. I came to a point where I didn't have any more books that I was interested in reading until my teacher started to give me suggestions on books that I should read. She had found that in one of the essays I wrote, I would use the influences from the books I read to catch my reader's attention, I would make my writing more interesting by using different writing techniques that I learned from reading these books. I began to read these books that Ms. Rasheed recommended for me and I found that the various genres and writing styles that were included in these books were appealing to a reader as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. My Most Memorable Experience HAWAII: This trip meant the world to me, even though I was two when it happened. This trip was to Hawaii. Now the actual trip on the airplane was about a 7 hour flight, and according to my mom I was pretty well behaved , being two. Everyday I could remember walking across the beach with my family and my cousins. Especially, my mom. She taught me to be respectful to everyone, in spite of their faults. This is because I have my faults too. Also, the amazing day on that trip when we went snorkeling with my uncle John, this was a memorable experience. I can just remember feeling the cold ocean blue water on my skin. I can also vividly remember the large turtles you could see just gliding through the water. But the most memorable experience I...show more content... I still remember how I couldn't stop smiling all the way home. KITA: This day will always stay in my heart, just because it marks a day when a hole was created. It was the month of January 2017. Mt dog Kita had been with us for 10 years, that January 4. But only a couple days later, she started to get very sick. She would throw up after anything she ate, and she could barely walk as she grew to become very weak. It was hard taking her to the vet that morning, because it was the day I had to come to school. Sitting there watching her on the floor breathing very fast made my heart break a little bit more every second. It was terrible having to watch her suffer like that. We had to leave her for the day so the vets could run tests. But that night when we came back, she didn't look like the beautiful, happy, caring dog that we had at home. She was suffering and we knew it. When the vet came back in we had to make a decision, and that decision was to put her down. I couldn't watch her go that easily, but I knew soon that she would be in a better place. When they stuck the syringe in her, a part of me felt lost. She had been with me my whole life. I saw her lay there on the floor, I sat right next to her. Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 16. Essay about A Memorable Time in My Life My story is about my friend and I who one day came up with an idea to entertain ourselves. To be frank, it wasn't the safest idea. Nor the smartest. But we were at an age where life was at our peril. We hardly ever had any homework and our parents thought we were too innocent to punish us if we came home from school late. So we considered this to be the perfect time for some refreshing fun. I learned a lot from a participation which I initially thought was simply about having a good time. In one sense I did have a good time but it was over roared by a pretty hefty consequence. My overriding regret is substantial and can never be amended. I was relieved slightly with lessons which a real life undertaking like this only could of taught me....show more content... We looked at each other. Our faces told their own story. We had both been given huge lift by this. I'd never experienced such an instantaneous feeling of pure energy in my life. The endorphin's were sky high. I'm sure he felt the same way cause if he didn't there was something wrong with him. That's how good it was. We had to do another one by the end of the day. We did and it was equally spectacular. Instead this time of desperately 'boltin it' we were more confident and composed is was more like a fast jog with time left over to swagger out the driveway to the sound of a hot–tempered old woman shouting''get out or I'Il phone the police". My friend and I were both enjoying this as we had never experienced this action packed side of life before. It was like we were emulating the great actors from all the best action movies. Taking on the same inconcievable tasks and against all the odds, some how finding a escape unscathed or undetected. But aside of all the glossy acts of heroism or bravery that these stories provide, a simpler and more down to earth story stood out and illuminated my senses to the wrong I was undertaking. ''The bad, nasty people who steal, hurt, vandalise or TRESSPASS always get in big trouble in the end.'' I learned that when I was five and understood it then. • 17. The Most Memorable Writing Experience Most Memorable Writing Experience: My Reflection on Writing I have been writing since I have been in Middle School. I have realized that by college it was easier for me to write down my thoughts in order for me to remember what I have said or done. Writing out my thoughts gives me a sense of recollection, knowledge, and pacification that gets me through my day. I pictured writing to be as simple as jotting down a few sentences, but as I got farther in school I realized that there is more to it than just writing sentences. English has been my most difficult subject I have ever endured, but I have somehow been managing to make excellent grades and achieving all requirements. First in the essay, I will discuss my experiences in the English life that I've taken so far up until college. The second part will list my struggles in creating a thesis, a work cited, and properly citing my sources used in the papers. My experience with English has changed drastically from middle school to college. Being in middle school I have really had to do much of a big paper, but as I progressed through college I've realized there much more that has to be added. I had always wondered why middle school was so easy but as years went on, I realized that advancing to college there's a lot more requirements and importance to writing. In middle school, I was young and just starting to really realize what an essay was and after high school I really understood what an essay consists of. • 18. My Most Memorable Experience One of most memorable experience When I was 12 years old I used to work in a pets store. I start working because I wanted to know learn how to do thing without my parents and make my own money. I never force myself to work and neither my parents too. Being poor is the one of the biggest fear for me. I realized that I should start finding an experience. I really want to have a part time job. I have to be at least 18 years old to apply for a job. Lucky me, my friend's mom was an owner of a pets store. She gave me an opportunity to learn how to work. At first, my parents are too worried but for my own good they finally let me work. My friend was so happy that I was going to work with her mom. My friend came over to her mom's store more often just to see if I was doing well. There're a lot of work than I was imagine. The store is very close to my house, I walked to work every morning at 7:30 am. The store is open at 8am–8:30pm. I work only weekend unless I have a vacation. First of all I have to open the store, get ready, change the water in the fish's pool, feeds the puppies, kittens, birds and hamsters. • 19. The Most Memorable Experience In My Life There are scary moments in our lives that we as humans must endure and take in. One of the most memorable bus experiences in my life happened when I least expected it to. It was around ten–o– clock at night and my boyfriend and I were heading to the bus station in Emporia, Virginia to be sent off on a bus to Lubbock, Texas. Never in my mind did it ever cross me to think thatbus stations were gross and full of people who seemed threatening and intimidating. Nor the bus rides to be crammed, smelly, and uncomfortable. It all started in the month of July, my boyfriend and I were preparing to get on a bus to leave for Lubbock, Texas from having spent two weeks in Virginia with my mother. I was so excited because I had never been on a trip that far before without an adult accompanying me. It was a two–day drive and considering that the brochures for the greyhound buses said that the buses were amazing and filled with super comfy seats and great people who are always available to help you if you need it made me feel great about taking the bus. But as soon as we boarded the bus, the other passengers instantly had negative and rude comments towards my boyfriend and I. The bus reeked of pee and the floors were so dirty that every time I stepped my shoe stuck to the floor. The windows were covered in gum, trash, and were sticky from drinks being spilled all over them. We both took our seat trying to ignore everyone and everything that was bothering. Once the bus took off I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 20. Memorable Experience Essay Throughout life I have had many memorable events. The memorable times in my life vary from being the worst times in my life and some being the best, either way they have become milestones that will be remembered forever. The best day of my life was definitely the day that I received my drivers' license. This day is one of the most memorable because of the feelings I had when I received it, the opportunities that were opened up for me and the long lasting benefits that I received from it that still exist today. Getting my drivers' license was an intense feeling that I will never forget. Just knowing that I had a drivers' license made me feel so free, as free as a bird flying in the open sky with no real place to go, just a desire to be...show more content... Driving fast in a car may be unsafe but the thrill and excitement of high rates of speed gave me a rush I had never felt before. Seeing, feeling and hearing everything go by faster made the whole driving experience so much better. My mouth watered with envy as I approached the drivers' seat every time I went out for a drive. The automobile, as a whole, became a high interest of mine; the styling, the sound and the speed of it. I loved driving and I loved cars and all of this new found love was from the birth of my drivers' license. Such a simple piece of paper opened up such a broad area of learning for me; it was of much amazement to me. Receiving my drivers' license was the best day of my life. It will be remembered forever because of the feelings, experience and new beginnings that it gave me. Today, I still hold my interest in the automobile but the thrill of driving has dulled significantly since I receive many traffic tickets and went through a period of license suspension. But, still, that day remains the best day of my life. The day I received my drivers' license will never be forgotten for as long as I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
