3. How do you
harvest
coconut sap?
It starts with harvesting or "tapping" the
flower bud stem of a coconut tree.
Farmers make a cut on the spadix and the
sap starts to flow from the cut into
bamboo containers. The sap collected is
then transferred into large woks and
placed over moderate heat to evaporate
the moisture content of the sap.

make coconut
aminos?
The delicious, tangy-sweet flavor of our Original
Coconut Aminos liquid sauce is achieved with just two
ingredients: coconut tree sap and sea salt
To make coconut aminos, coconut trees are tapped;
then, the sap is aged and blended with sea salt. So, at
least, this product is definitely simple! Likewise, the
nutrition here is simple; coconut aminos are essentially
water with some coconut sugar (in small amounts â 1g
per serving) and sodium.
6. Coconut Nector
âą Natural coconut blossom sap, is
only 1.5% fructose when
collected from
âą the blossoms. As this sap is
dried and thickened, removing
much of the water, the
âą fructose content of the final
liquid only reaches about 10% --
far lower than the 50% -
âą 90% fructose
âą This makes coconut nectar a
really smart choice for a natural
sweetener.
