Math toys help to improve counting ability

Pre-school children needs to learn simple mathematics and most often the onus
falls on parents to begin the procedure. It is here that many parents fail because
they don’t know where to start from or how to make counting interesting and
interactive for their children. Nowadays however there is help at hand since there
are lots of creative teaching tools that are available in the market. One of the
most interactive approaches that can help your kid learn simple mathematics is
math toys. Starting from simple addition to subtraction these toys enable your
child to learn counting effectively. The great thing about these toys is it
encourages the child to play a game of numbers. As the child enjoys the game he
also learns different concepts of mathematics in the process. So these counting
toys enable your child to play and learn at one go.

Different types of math toys (in Danish matematik legetøj) are made that are
targeted at children of various age groups. When you allow your child to play with
counting toys he becomes familiar with numbers and other simple mathematical
problems. As he makes progress you can give him toys of higher level. These toys
help in the development of mathematical reasoning. It also develops cognitive
skills. In this way children can prepare themselves early in life which helps them
in the future.

Apart from counting your kid also has to develop his motor skills and for this
purpose there are motor toys. When your child starts playing with these toys he
improves on his motor skills. When you buy motor skill development toys make
sure that these conform to the age of your kid. Toys that are age inappropriate
will be of no use because if your child finds them uninteresting he won’t play with
them. This will nullify the very purpose for which you had bought the toy.

The process of development of motor skills should be initiated from a very early
age. It is better if you start from the age of one month. This means you have to
take the leading role in playing with your child. Teach your child to grasp and grip
the motor toys (in Danish motorisk legetøj). Toys that can intrigue your child
can be great. Gradually teach him to pick toys and throw (some toys are meant
to be played in this way).

Stack toys help to sharpen motor skills and for creativity there are construction
toys. Always be with your child when he plays and allow him to take his own time
to play.

Useful and playful toys for kiddies

It really surprises and amazes me to see the level of awareness and conscious
rising high in today's age. Globalization and industrialization has scaled new
heights and thus it has led to mass- exposure on literally everything under the
sun. What I knew at ten years old, today a five year kid knows more than that
and if things move in this speed, the difference will only widen up. I am not
complaining at all but gauging the velocity and swiftness with which life has been
coated in multiple layers.

One of the areas where massive alertness has been noticed is the toys of
children. You don't give cup or a plate or a book or a phone to keep the child
engaged. It doesn't yield anything, rather time- waste activity I should say! If the
learning of the child is at the helm of things it will reduce him as a robot. If you
only allow him to play and play be prepared to face a playful one. So the catch is
to strike a balance between the two. Learning and play should be manifested in
such a way that none of them gets over the top. That is why we have educational
toys for the children of all age-groups. In the yearly formative years it is essential
for the parents to check if their child's motor skills are developing simultaneously
or not.

Motor skill mean muscle movements like when hand and fingers are used in
coordination with eyes. The correct coordination between the hands and eyes or
legs and eyes or both is very much required and to enhance this ability we have
various motor toys (in Danish motorisk legetøj) available in the market.
Puzzles, maze, chess, play table, matching- grid building, painting with different
kind of brushes are some common motor toys for children to make them bright
and smart. Keeping the same motto in mind schools, institutes and play center
have been seeing furnishing their rooms with institution toys. Puppets, piano,
climbers, building blocks, toy trains are available for the kids to play with. In case
of institution toys (in Danish institutionslegetøj) it mainly requires group
play. At least three to four heads have to play together which as a result help
them learning and playing together. This art of doing things with adjustment and
sharing is of great value and last for lifetime.

So if you have little darlings around make sure that their creative streak gets
build-up. Imagination and creativity is eluding fast from today's concrete world
and these toys are the best way to foster these qualities and abilities in children.
BILIBO, THE WONDER TOY

While growing up children needs various toys or puzzles to engage themselves in
various kinds of activities or playing, as a result parents are always on the search
for the most effective and useful toys. In the growing years children are mostly
whimsical in nature therefore it is very hard to keep them engage with one thing
for a long time. Finding untouched toys in every household is a common scene.
But there is good news for all the parents out there as a unique and innovative
puzzles for children has came into the market, its called Bilibo. It is a kind of
puzzle which is in the shape of a shell having round edges and two holes on one
side. Being a parent you might be surprised why kids from all over the world are
mad about these puzzles.

Bilibo is not that kind of simple puzzles for children which can be only used in
arranging some numerical blocks but they are multipurpose in nature. Children
use them in different ways according to their imagination, like some use them as
water toys, doll beds; they can even fill it with sand, to carry stuffs around, as
sleds and even as a seat, the list goes on actually. Even according to experts
bilibo is a great tool for children for their healthy brain stimulation and over all
growth. They are also of the view that these puzzles for children adds a great
impetus to their imaginative skills, as each child use these puzzles in their own
way to build up things. These special puzzles come in different sizes and colour
helping you to choose from a wide range of variety. Parents can also enjoy
playing them with their children enjoying a quality time as a family.

Bilibo received many international awards for being such a multipurpose toy,
which not only provides children with a wide range of variety in one product to
play but also helps to enhance their over all growth. There are various toys,
games and puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn) available in the
market but if you want a real useful one then this is the best option available.
Having many sizes, you can choose the right one that best suits your child’s age
and his needs as well. So, shrug off all your worries about what to buy for your
child to keep him engage and buy this wonder toy.

Puzzling Education

Television is perhaps the only medium children learn extensively from, nowadays.
What they learn is not always according to our taste. So, what to do? Remember
that children will learn just as well, even better, from other mediums and even
games as well. Remember the coloring book you had? Now that boosts
creativity. The plus point of these ‘other mediums’ is that they are controllable.
The incorporation of puzzles in your child’s education is a great way for him/her
to learn while having fun.

What are the right kinds of puzzles?

Virtually, all kinds of puzzles for children, available are good to go. We usually
think of puzzles as a box filled with hundreds of pieces—however, this is only one
kind of puzzle. There are several puzzle coloring book (in Danish MAlebog),
puzzle books, Sudoku books, crosswords, find-your-way-out books etc available
nowadays. The best part about puzzles is that if you don’t like what you see then
you can make your own!

But how do they help in learning?

Puzzles for children inspire them with a drive—a drive to keep trying until they
succeed. They encourage them to move further and learn while they enjoy.
Learning is best done through fun. Puzzles are also known to boost memory and
greatly improve hand-eye coordination. This will later enable them to solve more
complex and difficult problems—like in math.

Educational Puzzles? Really!!

You will find lots of reading puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn)
nowadays that enable kids to develop their reading and grammar skills. Some
offer words and points to be put together as sentences or a new story each time
by changing the order. There are timed puzzles which teach time management to
children. This will imbibe your child to become more efficient with time and be
more competitive. Every time they beat the puzzle they must try to beat the time
of the last try. There are also the more elementary matching puzzles which
encourage children to match words to picture. These are best for the beginners.

Don’t make education a frustrating experience for your child in his/her early days.
Make it fun by the use of puzzles. You can find puzzle toys too—these toys
transform into a different toy if taken apart and put together differently.
Remember, patience is important with puzzles. If your child gets frustrated with a
puzzle then distract him/her from it for a little while. A frustrated child will not
learn anything and will probably become more frustrated.

Blocks of ABC

A common notion amongst both parents and educationists is that the children,
nowadays, play too many video games and watch too much of TV. The notion is
sadly true, so what do you do? Give your children puzzles to play with—they will
not only help them cultivate essential skills but will also help them develop their
visual, aural and verbal senses and improve creativity and analytical thinking. The
results will be that your child will have improved coordination and a high level of
creativity.

When you offer your children that vividly painted chunky wood ABC puzzle (in
Danish abc puslespil), you will find that they will not only have a wonderful time
learning from them but will also begin devising new ways to play with them. In
addition, puzzles that have nature, sea life, fishes, animals, birds etc. as themes
are perfect additions to a Sunday school class and also for parents who want a
favorite toy for their child.

Remember how you used to play scrabble (or perhaps you still do in your leisurely
hours). Well you will find the same variant for your child in ABC letters and an
ABC puzzle. Including number and alphabet puzzles, with 123 and ABC letters
(in Danish ABC bogstaver) in wood, in your child’s learning process can be quite
a good decision. The process itself of identifying and recognizing letters and
numbers and then putting them or arranging them in an asked order or manner
can play a vital role in your child’s learning process. The time they spend will also
last for hours at an end because the pieces themselves are interesting in looks
with their different sizes and vivid colors—so they will rarely lose interest and
continue to have fun while they learn.

Be sure to get puzzles for your children, which are appropriate or fit for his/her
age. Do not get a 5 year old a puzzle meant for a 12 year old—this will lead to
failed attempts on the child’s side making him/her discouraged. If you see your
child getting frustrated with a puzzle then take it away for a while, give a small
hint or two or simply replace it with a simpler puzzle.

The puzzles you get for your child should be made up of high quality and durable
hardwood and there should be no harmful chemicals in it. The products available
online conform to all norms and have eco-friendly materials and paints.
