Construction – Main Task – comments and mark out of 33/40
There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of most of the technical skills
Footage:
Great use of camera, with great variety of shots, mostly in focus. Good use of
framing. Effective use of mise-en-scene (especially the use of
locations/props/performance).
Editing:
Video is edited to beat with good actions to beat. Good use of transitions that link
with song and visuals. Footage has been edited well.
Overall:
Great video which meets the conventions of the genre. Good attention to visuals to
maintain audience. Great performance from actor, excellent lip synch as this works
very well. A tongue in cheek homage to the genre.
Construction – Ancillary Task 1 (Digipak) comments and mark out of 6/10
Work shows good awareness of digipak (genre) conventions with good images
used to promote album. Some nice detail on why images chosen and justification
for choices. Images all seem to come from video????
Inside images could show better creativity.

Work shows some awareness of advert (genre) conventions with image and text
used to promote album. Image seems to come from video????

Evaluation – Comments and mark out of 15/20
Question 1: Answered well using a ‘youtube’ vodcast. You have understood the
question well and state out how your video conforms to your chosen genre. Good
explanation about why you made the choices you did, backed up with examples
from real videos within the genre.
Question 2: Note: Title says question 3. Answered using ‘Prezi’ - some nice detail
on how digipak and adverts work together with images and font used to link
products but not mention of video and video works with ancillary products.
Question 3: Note: Title says question 2. Answered well using ‘prezi’. A good
range of audience feedback was undertaken. You have reflected well on feedback
received and noted how you would make improvements if you were to do this
again. A great reflective piece.

2. Question 4: Answered using ‘Emaze’. Most technologies used have been
explained well. You could have added technologies used in your evaluation –
Emaze. Good explanation of how you used each technology through the stages of
your production.
Overall a proficient body of work. You have explained your design choices well
and reflected on what went well and didn’t. Good use of communication and ICT,
although this is incomplete at present.
