To set the tone for the meeting, we are going to kick things off with a brief video. This video is about students, but I believe is very relevant to many of us as we try to engage our audiences in the digital age and in the 21st century.
How does this resonate with you? I am not an educator –but I am fascinated by how the internet and new ways to access information have changed the way we live. Nothing is linear anymore (least of all, this presentation). How does these new ways of gathering online and interacting with information (and each other) change the playing field? What should we be doing as parents, as educators, as communicators? For me, it is the constant endeavor to learn new ways to use existing tools, and new tools on the horizon.
No matter what your objectives – we all can find ideas with a little bit of inspiration.
We all have an audience and engage – and I am a big believer in going to them. Find out where they are! When in doubt – ripoff and duplicateU
