2. Neosporin Ointment
Active Ingredient
Each gram of Neosporin Ointment contains the
following ingredients:
Polymyxin B Sulfate USP 5000 units, Bacitracin Zinc
IP 400 units, Neomycin Sulphate IP 3400 units.
Each gram of Neosporin-H Ointment contains
the following ingredients:
Polymyxin B Sulfate USP 5000 units, Bacitracin Zinc
IP 400 units, Neomycin Sulphate IP 3400 units,
Hydrocortisone IP 10 mg.

3. Neosporin Ointment
Recommended Dosage
Apply a thin layer of Neosporin Ointment
two to five times daily over the affected
area. You may cover the area with dressing
if required or leave it exposed. Neosporin
Ointment should not be used for more than 7
days without medical supervision.

Missed Dose
If you forget an application of
Neosporin Skin Ointment, apply some
ointment as soon as you remember.
However, if you remember when it is
almost time for your next dose, take
only your usual dose at that time.

Contraindications
Neosporin Ointment is contraindicated in the
following cases:
