Each spray delivers Budesonide IP 100

Recommended Dosage
The recommended starting dosage for
adults and children 6 years of age and
older is administered as one spray per
nostril of Generic Rhinocort Aqua Nasal

Contraindications
Generic Rhinocort Aqua (Budenase
Nasal Spray) is contraindicated in
patients with the following conditions:
➔Hypersensitivity to Budesonide , or any inactive
component of this medication.

The most common side effects
with an incidence rate of 2% or
more include epistaxis,
pharyngitis, bronchospasm,
coughing, nasal irritation.

Warnings And Precautions
➔In clinical studies of 3 to 52 weeks’ duration
epistaxis was observed more frequently in
patients treated with Generic Rhinocort Aqua
➔In clinical studies with budesonide administered
intranasally, the development of localized
infections of the nose and pharynx with Candida
albicans has occurred
➔Instances of nasal septum perforation have been
reported following the intranasal application of
corticosteroids, including budesonide

8. Generic Rhinocort Aqua Nasal Spray
Warnings And Precautions
➔Since corticosteroids have an inhibitory effect
on wound healing, patients who have experienced
recent nasal septal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal
trauma should not use a nasal corticosteroid until
healing has occurred.
➔Hypersensitivity reactions including anaphylactic
reaction, urticaria, rash, dermatitis, angioedema
and pruritus may occur.

Overdose
Chronic overdose of Generic Rhinocort

in signs/symptoms of hypercorticism.
