3. Eligibility through MT-CET
• Secured minimum 45% marks (minimum 40% marks in
case of candidates of backward class categories and
Person with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra

4. Eligibility & Admission through
JEE
• Candidate should have a valid Paper-1 of JEE (Mains) Score (i.e.
total score should be positive) for the year 2013-14.
• Such Maharashtra Candidates who have also appeared for MT-
CET 2013 will be required to submit single Application and
Option form for CAP. Such Candidates will be given single
allotment through CAP as per their inter-se-merit.
• Each eligible Candidate will be assigned a provisional merit
number.

5. Eligibility through Diploma for FE
• Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in
Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks in
aggregate.
• Admission is Not through CAP.

6. Rule for OMS
• Even though Outside Maharashtra State (OMS)
candidates are eligible to appear for the MT-CET 2013,
it is specifically made clear that such OMS candidates
will not be able to participate in the Centralized
Admission Process on the basis of score . These OMS
candidates will be able to apply for the admissions
against the Institute Level Seats ONLY in the Unaided

of score .
• The facility of Constitutional Reservation is not
available for the OMS candidates. Therefore all OMS

12. Certificate of the Indian
Nationality
• The certificate of Indian Nationality, which is usually issued by the
Tahasildar/Executive Magistrate/Dy. Collector of the concerned
Taluka/District wherein the candidate ordinarily resides.
• In lieu of the “Certificate of Indian Nationality” any one of the
following certificate will also be acceptable-
– The School leaving Certificate indicating the Nationality of the candidate
as ‘Indian’.

13. Reservation Rules
• A candidate belonging to ‘Creamy Layer’ amongst the
categories VJ/DT-NT (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), SBC and
OBC must note that the provision of reservation is NOT
applicable to him/her.
• A candidate claiming benefit of reservation under the
categories VJ/DT-NT (A), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), SBC and

14. Domicile certificate
• Domicile certificate issued by the Maharashtra State’s
appropriate authorities will be considered valid.
• The domicile certificate of Mother of the candidate shall
be supported with marriage certificate and legal proof of
change in name if any. Such candidates will be required
to submit birth certificate clearly mentioning the name of

18. Important points to remember
• Please check following website regularly for updates: http://dte.org.in/fe2013/
• Online submitted Applications will be considered valid for further processing only
after the confirmation of the submission of Online Application Form at the ARC.
• The Candidate has to submit and confirm the Online Option/Preference Form for
CAP Round I/II through candidate login by himself/herself. It is not required to
report to ARC for confirmation of option form.
• Candidate can modify preferences, add choices and delete choices before
confirmation of the online Option/preference form.
• The Option/preference form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate

• The Option/preference form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate
himself/herself will not be processed for allotment for respective CAP Rounds.
• Candidate should keep the printout of the online option/preference form after
confirmation by the candidate for future reference.
• If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification same
shall be reported to the ARC incharge immediately.
• The Mock Allotment shall be only for the demonstration purpose and there may be
drastic change in the provisional allotment of CAP Round I of the candidate.
