- Survey responders were asked to decide whether they agree or disagreed with the statements. The % of responders indicates the percentage of survey responders who strongly agree or agree with the statement. The statements are listed below. Statement 1: I was able to navigate the course and open documents/resources easily. Statement 2: I found the assignments easy to read and understand. Statement 3: I found the directions provided to be clear and concise. Statement 4: I understood how to submit work. Statement 5: I found the discussion boards and chats easy to participate in. Statement 6: I understood the testing and review process for my course. Some additional comments are below: I liked it a lot. Was not able to look at old notes or work and no review process till the final week. Students need to be able to look at past work. There were times that my student was unable to open quizzes and this made us both nervous that the work would not be done in a timely fashion.

Statement 1: The course content was presented in a way that was easy to understand. Statement 2: The Power Points were helpful in understanding course content. Statement 3: The videos were helpful in understanding course content. Statement 4: The podcasts were helpful in understanding course content. Statement 5: The Internet resources were helpful in understanding course content. Statement 6: Sufficient review materials were provided to prepare for tests. Statement 7: The assignments/projects strengthened my understanding of the course content. Some additional comments: Videos did not always work. I think that Math is a very difficult subject to teach online. My student needs to see the work done by the teacher to understand the material and then she doesn’t have a problem.

Statement 1: The teacher answered my child’s questions in a timely manner. Statement 2: The school answered my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Statement 3: The teacher and/or school communicated grades to me weekly. Statement 4: If I was not completing assignments, I was notified. Statement 5: I found email and moodle to be a helpful communication tool. Some additional comments: Parents should be notified weekly on their child’s progress. The child’s accurate grade should be reported to the parent not just a notification that it is falling below a certain percentage. That would include high and low grades. Most parents are paying for this. I e-mailed my child’s teacher daily and she was very kind to e-mail me back. I was pleased with the communication we had with each other
