2. Everton as a football club
Everton was founded as St Domingo's in 1878 but a year after, it was recalled
Everton FC
Everton Football Club is an English Premier Football League club based in
Liverpool. The club has competed in the top division for a record 109 seasons
and have won the League Championship nine times.
Formed in 1878, Everton were founding members of The football league in
1888 and won their first league championship two seasons later .
Following four league titles and two FA Cup wins, Everton experienced a lull in
the immediate post World War Two period until a revival in the 1960s which
saw the club win two league championships and an FA Cup.

3. Stadium: Goodison Park
he stadium has been home to Everton. F. C since its completion in 1892 and is
one of the world's first purpose-built football grounds.The stadium is built in a
residential area served by regular rail and bus services two miles (3 km) from
Liverpool city centre.
Goodison has undergone many changes over the years and it presently has an
all-seated capacity of 40,157. Everton fans refer to the stadium as "The Grand
Old Lady" and the abridged "Goodison".

4. Everton shield
At the end of the 1937–38 season,
Everton secretary Theo Kelly, who later
became the club's first manager,
wanted to design a club necktie. It was
agreed that the colour be blue and
Kelly was given the task of designing a
crest to be featured on the necktie.
Kelly worked on it for four months, until
deciding on a reproduction of Prince
Rupert's Tower, which stands in the
heart of the Everton district

5. Everton location : Liverpool
Liverpool is a city and metropolitan
borough of Merseyside, England,
United Kingdom along the eastern
side of the Mersey Estuary. It was
founded as a borough in 1207 and
was granted city status in 1880. It is
the fourth most populous British city,
and third most populous in England,
with a 2011 population of 466,400
and is at the centre of a wider urban
area, the Liverpool City Region,
which has a population of around 2
million people.

6. Colours
They use always a combination of blue and white. This year they use more blue
than white. The 2nd and 3rd equipment every year changes, this year it mix
purple with black.

7. Sponsors
Everton's current shirt sponsors are Chang Beer. Previous sponsors include
Hafnia, NEC, Danka, one2one and Kejian. For the 2008–09 season Everton
sold junior replica jerseys without the current name or logo of its main sponsor
Chang beer, following a recommendation from the Portman Group that
alcoholic brand names be removed from kits sold to children.[26] Everton's
current kit manufacturers are Nike, who replaced Le Coq Sportif from the 2012–
13 season. Everton recently signed a new kit deal with Nike, who will begin to
produce kits for the 2012/13 season.

8. Manager : David Moyes
David William Moyes (born 25 April 1963) is a
Scottish former footballer and the current manager
of English Premier League club Everton. He was
the 2003, 2005 and 2009 League Managers
Association Manager of the Year. He is also on the
Committee for the League Managers Association in
an executive capacity.
Moyes made over 540 league appearances as a
centre half in a playing career that began with
Celtic, where he won a championship medal. He
then played for Dunfermline Athletic and ended his
playing career with Preston North End.
