      which ones are the most abundant. Copper, gold, silver, & iron ore are grouped together as
      “minerals”.)




   5. Are there more resources in Northern Canada or Southern Canada? Make a prediction about
      how this impacts Canada’s population distribution.
6. The majority of Canada’s population lives relatively close to the U.S.-Canadian border. Why do
   you think so many people live in this area?




7. There are a lot of industries around the Great Lakes that develop iron ore, silver, copper, and
   gold. As a result of all of these factories, what environmental concern do you think the region is
   facing?




8. The land around Hudson Bay is rich in minerals (copper, gold, iron ore, silver). What physical
   feature is located in this area?




9. There are not any crops or animals produced in Northern Canada. Why is this?
