Mi 9 SE series is a compact flagship with the brand new
Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. With a 5.97 "drop
display and a 19.5: 9 format, the size of the Mi 9 SE is
comparable to that of a classic 5.1" smartphone. Like Mi 9,
Mi 9 SE is also equipped with LPDDR4x and UFS 2.1 RAM,
holographic surface with rainbow effect on the back, 48MP
camera that uses the Sony IMX586 sensor, as well as the
fingerprint sensor on the front screen and the NFC

Mi 9 SE has a 5.97 "AMOLED display with a teardrop
design, which still retains a compact shape. With a
thickness of only 7.45mm and a weight of 155g, Mi 9 SE is
ultra-thin and light and is designed to be used with one
hand. Mi 9 SE also includes an improved fingerprint sensor
for a faster unlocking experience.
Mi 9 SE is the first device powered by the Qualcomm®
Snapdragon ™ 712 mobile platform, an improvement on
the Snapdragon 710. Made with a 10nm processor
composed of the Kryo ™ 360 CPU (maximum clock speed
of 2.3GHz) and the Adreno ™ GPU 616, Mi 9 SE is designed
to handle even the most demanding tasks and offers up to
35% more graphics performance and energy efficiency
than its predecessor.
Mi 9 SE offers three cameras with the Sony 48MP primary
IMX586 sensor. Capture ultra-defined shots from 48MP by
day or 12MP in low light conditions, when four pixels
combine into a large 1.6-micron pixel. Furthermore, Mi 9
SE is able to take landscape and architectural photos at an
ultra-wide angle of 123 ° or to take beautiful portraits with
its telephoto lens.

For the third month of the '12 Moods' campaign,
Skullcandy celebrates a different way of making music

Superior speed and quality
RF 85MM F1.2L USM is one of Canon's lenses with the
widest aperture among those intended for full-frame
mirrorless cameras. The f / 1.2 aperture, integrated into a
telephoto lens and equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF
technology, creates striking images with a shallow depth of
field and a blurred background. The opening makes the
subjects vivid and realistic, while the nine-bladed
diaphragm system creates a background with a uniformly

Today more than ever the news is told with images. With
the advent of social media, it almost seems like the news
arrives first to the public and to the newsrooms. Indeed,
"being on the news" requires greater speed and
responsiveness than a few years ago.
This change has also influenced the way journalism is done
and the professional figures that belong to this world. One
of them is the photojournalist, a journalist who, by
definition, tells stories through images. Photography,
thanks to its immediacy and effectiveness in representing a
story, has established itself over the years as an
indispensable tool in the journalistic context. Consider, for
example, snapshots of war reporters or shots of news
stories that have made history.
In the past, when the internet was in its infancy, networks
did not allow a rapid transfer of data and the technologies
integrated in the devices were light years away from those
of today's devices, so the way a photojournalist worked
was very different. The news did not travel at the speed

Oggi più che mai le notizie vengono raccontate con
immagini. Con l’avvento dei social media sembra quasi che
le news arrivino prima al pubblico che alle redazioni. Lo
“stare sulla notizia” richiede, infatti, rapidità e reattività
maggiori rispetto a pochi anni fa.
Questo cambiamento ha influenzato anche il modo di fare
giornalismo e le figure professionali che a questo mondo
appartengono. Una tra tutte è quella del fotoreporter, un
giornalista che, per definizione, racconta fatti attraverso le
immagini. La fotografia, grazie alla sua immediatezza ed
efficacia nel rappresentare una storia, si è imposta negli
anni come strumento indispensabile nel contesto
giornalistico. Si pensi per esempio alle istantanee di
reporter di guerra o agli scatti di fatti di cronaca che hanno
fatto la storia. In passato, quando internet era agli albori,
le reti non permettevano un rapido trasferimento di dati e
le tecnologie integrate nei dispositivi erano lontane anni
luce da quelle degli odierni device, di conseguenza il modo
di lavorare di un fotoreporter era molto differente. Le
notizie non viaggiavano alla velocità con cui girano oggi e vi
era relativamente più tempo a disposizione per lavorare in
post-produzione sugli scatti, magari in redazione o in
studio, prima della loro pubblicazione a corredo degli
articoli sui quotidiani. Oggi la musica è cambiata. I

in history as indelible testimonies of current events, but
the time available to them to produce the perfect shot is
less and less. The news must "come out" as soon as
possible and in some cases the traditional reflex and the
editing of the shots on the portable PC may not be the
ideal solution.
However, a few months ago photojournalists could have
an extra ally or, better to say, the discreet traveling
companion ready to support them in case of need: this is
the Nokia 9 PureView, the first smartphone in the world
equipped with 5 cameras. Designed to meet the needs of
photography enthusiasts, the smartphone offers the
possibility of capturing images in uncompressed "DNG"
RAW format and reworking them on the phone itself using
Adobe Lightroom.
An advantage not just for today's photojournalists who, in
certain situations, would thus be able to capture and
process the perfect shot in a very short time, and then
send it to the editorial office ready to be published almost
in real time.
"Today's world is running at double speeds compared to a
few years ago, and the many challenges facing today's
professionals can be overcome thanks to the support of
new technologies," says Alberto Colombo, HMD's General
Manager for Italy Global. "Nokia 9 PureView as well as
being a smartphone dedicated to those who make
photography a passion, it also wants to be a tool that
simplifies the life of those who tell stories with images and
want to do it quickly and effectively".

fotoreporter sono ancora in giro per il mondo a caccia di
immagini che rimangano nella storia come testimonianze
indelebili di fatti di cronaca, ma il tempo a loro disposizione
per produrre lo scatto perfetto è sempre meno. La notizia
deve “uscire” il prima possibile e in certi casi la reflex
tradizionale e l’editing degli scatti sul PC portatile
potrebbero non rappresentare la soluzione ideale.
Da pochi mesi i fotoreporter potrebbero però avere un
alleato in più o, per meglio dire, il compagno di viaggio
discreto pronto a supportarli in caso di necessità: si tratta
del Nokia 9 PureView, il primo smartphone al mondo
dotato di 5 fotocamere. Progettato per soddisfare le
esigenze degli appassionati di fotografia, lo smartphone
offre infatti la possibilità di catturare le immagini in
formato RAW “DNG” non compresso e di rielaborarle sul
telefono stesso tramite Adobe Lightroom.
Un vantaggio non da poco per gli odierni fotoreporter che,
in determinate situazioni, sarebbero così in grado di
catturare ed elaborare lo scatto perfetto in pochissimo
tempo, per poi inviarlo in redazione pronto per essere
pubblicato quasi in tempo reale.

Starting from the assumption that online shopping is
currently among the most loved things in the world, Ford
has set to work to try to better solve the challenge of the
last mile, or the most complex part of the delivery activity.
In this regard, Ford is collaborating with Agility Robotics, a
bipedal robotics company founded in 2015 as a spin-off of
Oregon State University, to explore a new frontier in the
world of automation and an innovative way of thinking
about how to carry out deliveries of goods.
Together, they are working to ensure that self-driving
vehicles are uniquely equipped to achieve something that
is increasingly surprisingly difficult to do: take the last step
to deliver from the car to the recipient's door.
"As emerged from the pilot projects conducted, for people
managing the recovery of goods on delivery can be
complex, in terms of time and logistics," commented Ken
Washington, Vice President, Ford Research and Advanced
Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. "Winning this
challenge means freeing up their time, to dedicate it to
other activities that really require their attention."
Since autonomous driving vehicles can move people and
goods simultaneously, they have great potential to make
deliveries even more convenient and efficient. Through
Digit: the Ford robot

messa all’opera per cercare di risolvere al meglio la sfida

transport.
The further step of this evolution passes through the
realization of Digit, a bipedal robot designed and created
by Agility Robotics, which not only has an
anthropomorphic appearance but is able to reproduce its
motor characteristics. Built in ultra-light material and
capable of lifting packs weighing over 18 kg, Digit can climb
and descend stairs, walk naturally on uneven ground and
even react to minor impacts without losing balance and
falling.
"As human beings, we take these skills for granted, but
they become extremely important when designing a robot
to move in different city scenarios," added Ken
Washington. “Often making deliveries requires overcoming
obstacles, including climbing stairs and facing other
challenges, activities that would be very difficult for
wheeled robots, for example. Digit was developed to
tackle any dynamic environment and move like a human
being, without any energy expenditure ".

image to the vehicle and configure the best solution for
the vehicle.
The car could even send this information to the cloud and
request the help of other systems to allow Digit to do its
best, providing more levels of assistance to help keep the
robot light and agile.
The light weight of Digit also helps to guarantee a longer
duration throughout the day, which is essential for an
autonomous delivery activity.

On the occasion of the next 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ford has
created a special series of Celebrative Liveries that will
wear the Ford GT of the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team.
Each of the four Ford GTs will wear a livery dedicated to
past and present successes of the Blue Oval at Le Mans.
This year's edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be the
last of the current racing program dedicated to the
production of the Ford GT, which marks the end of another
great chapter at Le Mans for Ford.
"In 2016, Ford returned to Le Mans to celebrate the fiftieth
anniversary of our incredible 1966 victory. We celebrated
in the best possible way by winning the race!" Said Bill
Ford, Executive Chairman, Ford Motor Company. "Going
on the podium on behalf of the employees was a moment
of pride for me and I look forward to returning to Le Mans
this year to support the team, as we approach the final
race of this important chapter in our history."
The four Ford GTs made their entry on the famous La
Sarthe circuit at Le Mans, for the first time in their new
liveries, each with a special meaning. They will also be
joined by a fifth Ford GT, which will run in the GTE Am class
with Keating Motorsports.
The Ford GT # 66, driven by Stefan Mücke (GER), Olivier Pla
(FRA) and Billy Johnson (USA), will wear a black livery
reminiscent of the Ford GT40 of Bruce McLaren and Chris
Amon who won Le Mans in 1966.
Ford Celebrative Liveries
In occasione della prossima 24 Ore di Le Mans, Ford ha
creato una serie speciale di Livree Celebrative (Celebration
Liveries) che vestiranno le Ford GT del Ford Chip Ganassi

“Nel 2016, Ford è tornata a Le Mans per celebrare il
cinquantesimo anniversario della nostra incredibile vittoria

The Ford GT40, which Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt drove to
victory at Le Mans in 1967, is remembered in the new
livery of the Ford GT # 67, driven by Andy Priaulx (GB),
Harry Tincknell (GB) and Jonathan Bomarito (USA).
The Ford GT # 68, the most recent Le Mans winner, won
the checkered flag for the first time in the 2016 race. Dirk
Müller (GER), Joey Hand (USA) and Sébastien Bourdais
(FRA) will race with the same colors of that 2016 victory.
The Ford GT # 69 by Scott Dixon (NZ), Ryan Briscoe (AUS)
and Richard Westbrook (GB) takes its cue from the design
of the Ford GT40 which came second in Le Mans in 1966 in
the epic 3 GT40 victory to occupy all 3 the steps of the
podium, the so-called 1-2-3 finish, by Ford.
The Ford GT # 85, which will compete in the Customer
Team's GTE Am class, Keating Motorsports, will also use
the same livery as the four Ford GTs, but matched with the
brilliant colors of its main sponsor, Wynn's. The driving
training of the Ford GT # 85 consists of Ben Keating (United
States), Jeroen Bleekemolen (NETH) and Felipe Fraga
(BRA).
"The Ford GT was created to bring Ford back into the world
of endurance," said Mark Rushbrook, Global Director, Ford
Performance Motorsports. “The program dedicated to the
Ford GT has been a great success for our brand and we
have lived, always at the height of enthusiasm, all the
many challenges that have arisen during these four years.
Le Mans will not be the real end of the factory program,
there are still many competitions to be faced in the IMSA
WeatherTech SportsCar championship to be held in 2019 "
The Ford GTs will be on track in their new celebratory
liveries on Sunday 2 June for the official Le Mans test
(Official Le Mans Test). Fans will be able to follow the 24
Hours of June 15 and 16, from within the Ford GT cockpit,
as the famous Le Mans dedicated livestream will return for
its fourth consecutive year.
