Teamwork Cooperative is an engineering firm in northern Holland that has been operating since 1993. It has founded several companies working in sustainable energy technologies, such as tidal energy company Tocardo and middle-sized wind turbine producer WES. Teamwork has reorganized into a cooperative structure to better embed its business activities and results within a network of knowledge sharing and advancing renewable energy. The cooperative includes Teamwork Technology and Teamwork Sustainable Investments divisions and has expertise in areas like wave, tidal, wind, solar, sustainable housing and mobility. It is seeking new members through investments between 50,000-250,000 euros.
2. The Teamwork Cooperative 2 In short Teamwork Technology is an initiating engineering firm in the Northern part of Holland (Zijdewind). Teamwork exists since 1993. Over the years Teamwork has been the founding partner of several companies in sustainable energy like for instance Tocardo (tidal energy, based in Zijdewind), WES (Wind Energy Solutions, producer middlesized wind turbines, located in Opmeer) and AWS (Archimedes Wave Swing, wave energy, now based in Scotland, AWS Ocean Energy Ltd.). Teamwork has developed a new organizational structure: a cooperative with the name “Teamwork Coöperatie”. Broader societal goal is to embed business both in the form (network of knowledge, social organizations, financial institutions and businesses) as in the results (knowledge sharing and move forward with renewable energy).
