Audience Profile For ‘Q’ - Open minded experience seekers, the Q audience don’t define themselves by the music they listen to. Music is an important passion, but their love of music will never be to the detriment of their other passions, such as film, sport and comedy. ‘Q’ Operates on many Platforms such as: - Magazine, Radio, TV, Website & ‘Q’ Awards.
Audience profile: ABC1 women aged 16-35 who are obsessed with celebrity gossip. Typical heat readers are in their mid twenties – social butterflies with a career that’s on the up.   • 6. This research shows that Bauer have lots of experience with publishing Music Magazines and also publish normal magazines. This will help with my magazines promotional links as the other magazines would be linked to my magazine. As Kerrang! is also a Rock magazine they would be able to help promote ‘Volume’ in their magazine and on their TV channel/Radio. By allowing Bauer to publish my magazine would mean my magazine would have strong promotional links which would allow my magazine to be promoted more successfully and increase sales. - Bauer Media will help promote my magazine themselves, they currently advertise their existing magazines on Bauer media TV, Radio and Online. - Bauer also have an (ABC) Audit Bureau of Circulation – This is an independent body supported by advertisers and agencies, which issues audited circulation figures for member publications. In addition to finding out how many people in the UK buy an average issue of a magazine, ABC identifies where or how they are obtained (e.g. UK, overseas, subscription, frees). Therefore This will help my magazine ‘Volume’ as I will be able to identify the circulation and the most popular ways my magazine is obtained.
