This is supported when you further analyse the picture, and find that she looks dishevelled and has fallen asleep, whilst marking a test paper, in her chair, which a teacher isn’t expected to do. Directly above her is the title of the film “Bad Teacher” written in chalk, which highlights the theme of education. The word “Bad” is in bold, which again emphasises the fact the she isn’t a very good teacher. All of this would make people intrigued and want to find out why she isn’t a good teacher, and therefore draw in people encourage people to go and watch it. <br />The tagline “She doesn’t give an “F”, along with the image of the apple, which has the play on words “Eat me!” on it, reveal the genre of the film, which is comedy. “Eat me!” is a play on word, as you eat an apple, however the phrase “eat me” can also be interpreted as an insult, as when the person saying it, they usually don’t care what other people think. The fact that the apple is red connotes that she’s bold, wild and outrageous. The bottoms of her shoes are also red.<br />Directly above the title are the names of the famous actors in the film, who will be the main characters. We can see that Cameron Diaz is the leading role of the film, as she is the person who is photographed. The use of stars on the film poster draws in an already existing target audience who recognise the actor’s names, and will therefore want to go and see it.<br />
