If your parents argued about money, you may have absorbed the impression that money is BAD. Your parents weren’t out to harm you, but they had their own issues to deal with. If you have a subconscious self limiting belief around money—You Will Repel Money!! You may have an embedded belief that money causes stress.
The way to overcome self-limiting beliefs is to acknowledge that have them, identify what they are, and replace the with empowering beliefs about yourself.
Make this your wildest dream!
Oprah is a great example of someone with very few resources who achieved her dream. Her life also teaches us that achieving our greatest desires has nothing to do with our current resources—only our beliefs. She has said, “I always believed I was meant to do something big.”Believe that it is possibleWrite down the name of a person who has achieved the same result that you desire.Associate that role model with your desired resultYour brain will duplicate their success
These reasons may be rational or irrational.Your conscious self-limiting beliefs are symptoms pointing to your subconscious beliefs
Identify the reasons “you can’t because…” with one of these types of self limiting beliefs. The one type you see the most of is your #1 self-debilitating belief. The sneaky thing about this self-limiting belief is that it does not confine itself to the area you chose for this workshop, but pervades into all areas of life. Now we’ve acknowledged and identified, how do we replace? We can reprogram our beliefs in a couple of ways.
Find a community of people with similar goals, who are supportive of your goal. I think we could all say that the community we are surrounded by today has helped us achieve a greater spiritual awareness. And it’s not just the minister or guest speaker who helps us achieve this, but we, the community help eachother find the meaning of what we learn her in our lives. The biggest mistake that keeps people stuck in life is surrounding themselves with negative people who affirm our self-limiting beliefs.
Through meditation we enter that Theta state we were in as children, and through repetition, we can reprogram our beliefs. This visualization technique can help us replace self-limiting beliefs.
