3. Partnership between Haydon School and Cambridge University students. A project beginning on Monday 10 January and ending on Monday 14 February. A scheme to raise awareness about sexuality and gender in Haydon. Year 12 students complete mini-projects in groups to educate the rest of the school about an LGBT issue. Students choose what they do, how it is presented, what the content is, whom they work with etc. Win prizes, awards and a certificate recognised by a national organisation.
4. Aims Promote an LGBT-friendly school environment by education on sexual and gender diversity. Gain something for CV/UCAS, showing creativity, initiative, involvement, interest and flair for subject etc. Learning information and attitudes.

9. 10 January Get brainstorming about LGBT issues, what you’d like to do and who you’d like to work with. Start researching!
10. 17 January The THiS team will be in to answer any questions you have. Official beginning point of your mini-project – planning phase.
11. 7 February Coming towards the end of your mini-project. The THiS team will be in for any last-minute help you need and to see what you have created.
12. 11 February Deadline to have sent a copy of your mini-project to THiS team (via website), to judge for prizes. Get your mini-projects on the school system!
13. 14 February You get awarded by your efforts towards THiS Project in an award assembly. The top 10 groups will get special prizes!
