Founder - Entrepreneur - Owner
Since the early `80s Harald Seiz has been self-employed in the financial services
sector. After training in the insurance and real estate industry Harald Seiz worked
as an independent financial services provider with a number of companies,
where he was very successful. In the mid-90s one company’s revenue reached
about 60 million.
At the end of 2008, he joined a company that was a category creator in the pre-cious
metals business, this product fascinated him. In just seven months Harald
Seiz managed to rise to the top of that company. However, his visions were
much larger than those of the company, which was only active in Germany. Gold
for everyone in small units – worldwide - was a fantastic idea in order to offer
people more security. So Harald Seiz founded Karatbars International GmbH in
2011. The company specializes in the sale of small gold bullions and gift items
with gold bullions, One-Gram-Gold-Cards, merchandise products and collec-tibles.
Karatbars International is now active in over 70 countries.
It is his vision to help people in all 194 countries obtain gold bullion and secure
financial security.
The headquarters and the logistics center of the company are located in Stutt-gart,
Germany. That is where the responsibility lies for the support, marketing,
customer and partner communications, design, ordering and delivery. It is also
where the planning for expansion into new markets takes place. We are proud of
the independence of Karatbars and want to preserve it in the future.
