Throughout the book, the small paragraphs of text can be found next to the illustrations
with the images being the main point of focus on each page. This layout is common
throughout the whole book however there is one page dominated by an image with

The illustrations in the book seem to be drawn.
• What kinds of fonts are used?
As the average reading age for this book is 4-8 years old, no over complicated fonts have
been used. Most letters have serifs which is a small flick on the edges of the letter to
guide the readers eye through the book as they create clean, smooth lines of text.

On each page, there is a small amount of text printed next to each illustration in order to
tell the story.

keep children's attention.

The book, Where There’s a Bear, There’s Trouble, has drawn illustrations to tell the story.

The font used is very simplistic and easy to read, the font is black to make the font stand
out from the brightly coloured background.
