 Reading in English for beginners and intermediate
 level
 This course will be taught to the people who are
 learning English from basic to intermediate level and
 they wish to increase their Reading abilities, in order
 to understand and analyze what they are reading in
 English, and at the same time, to reinforce areas where
 they consider are lacking of.
 The students will be able to read and understand the
 content by practicing different reading strategies.
 Unit 1
The Students will be able to develop strategies for effectively locating
  information in texts.

 Unit 2
The students will be able to recognize the main point of the text by
  analyzing how to do it.

 Unit 3
The students will be able to make connections between reading and
  writing tasks in related subject-specific texts.

 Unit 4
The students will be able to read subject area texts more independently.
 Unit 5
The students will be able to recognize the text organization.

 Unit 6
The students will develop greater awareness that texts can be understood
  on more than one level.

 Unit 7
The students will be able to improve reading speed by using the
  skimming and scanning techniques by practicing in texts and books.

 Unit 8
The students will read course-related materials, analyze content and
  remember important information and concepts.

 Unit 9
The students will be able to summarize important ideas, concepts and
  information.
