4. Introduction:
A conveyor system is a common piece of mechanical
handling equipment that moves materials from one location
to another.
Conveyor chutes are used in bulk handling to perform a
variety of operations. In particular, the loading of a belt
conveyor, and the transfer of material from one moving belt
conveyor to another, are important tasks.

7. Gravity Conveyor
An unpowered conveyor.
Uses the force of gravity to move
materials over a downward path.

8. How is it work
Transport articles with sufficient
weight to allow them to move
unassisted downwards, usually on an
inclined runway.

9. Gravity roller conveyor, is based on a
fabricated framework, usually put
together in longitudinal sections and
slightly inclined. It consists of freely
rotating tubular rollers that help the load
move under gravity.

10. Spiral Conveyor
Ideal to transfer loads from level to level
quickly and efficiently without interrupting
the conveyor process.
Without extra manual handling or transfers
to other equipment.

Limited to the speed of gravity.
Adhesives may cause stoppage
Only works for certain materials
Difficulty of controlling the position of the
object.

14. Advantages of Spiral conveyor
For space savings, it's difficult to imagine a solution that out
performs spiral conveying.
Only one drive is required for spiral conveying.
Cost savings, noticeable energy savings, and easier controls
integration
Many spirals are shipped as one piece, pre-assembled and
tested.
