2. Ashok Minda Group acquires Germany's AksysKoengen. Automobile components manufacturer Minda Group on Tuesday acquired AksysKoengen of Germany through an asset deal. Acquisition is a part of a plan to consolidate its position in the global auto component industry. The group targets to achieve a turnover of Rs 2,500 crore in 2010-11. It is also aiming at top line revenue of around Rs 6,000 crore by the end of 2013-14.

4. Fiat launches Línea T-Jet, T Jet Plus priced at Rs 8.55 - 8.99 lakh Fiat India launched two variants of its C plus flagship car Linea, the T-Jet and the T-Jet Plus. The T-Jet is priced at Rs.8.55 lakh, T-Jet plus on the other hand carries a price tag of 8.99 lakh. The Linea T-jet model has 13 new features and seven class leading equipments like more powerful engine, fuel efficiency and safety features.

Fortis Healthcare owners to buy HongKong business The controlling shareholders of Indian hospital chain Fortis Healthcare have agreed to buy the healthcare assets of Hong Kong-based Quality HealthCare Asia Ltd for HK $1.52 billion ($ 195 million). In addition to the HK $1.52 billion in cash, Fortis Global Healthcare will provide HK$20 million in base working capital. New Delhi-based Fortis Healthcare is controlled by billionaire brothers Malvinder and Shivinder Singh.
6. Here for long haul, not in a hurry to expand in India: Armani Armani said it is not in a hurry to expand in the country and would rather adopt a calibrated while spreading reach here. The company has highly-specialised sub-labels, including Giorgio Armani, Armani Collezioni, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, Armani Exchange, Armani Junior, and Armani/Casa. Armani will be having 10 to 12 stores here in India in coming few years.

Godrej Security looking at 75% market share in 5 years Godrej Security Solutions (GSS), part of the $3 billion Godrej Group , is targeting a 75 percent market share in the next five years from current 70 percent. Godrej Security Solutions is looking at a turnover of Rs.1,000 crore (2013-14) from Rs.500 crore targeted this year for the security division. GSS has 23 branches with 650 dealers across the country.
