2. About Blacks in Tech
Blacks In Technology (BIT) is a tech focused community
and media organization focused on increasing diversity
in technology. BIT's mission is to increase visibility,
participation, and change the perception of people of
African descent in technology through community
focused activities, events and media. BIT is “Stomping
the Divide” by establishing a blueprint of world class
technical excellence and innovation by providing
resources, guidance and issuing a challenge to our
members to surpass the high mark and establish new
standards of global innovation.
