2. Introduction Drug abuse is very harmful in many countries. Billions of dollars are spent internationally preventing drug use, treating addicts, and fighting drug-related crime. Drug abuse can cause multiple problems for the communities and societies. Children need to be told at home and in school about drugs. People need to be aware of the effects so that they can make avoid this problem.

3. Drug abuse case in Visakhapatnam Visakhapatnam is known as a city of peace in India, which indicate the presence of frustration and unhappiness among the people, especially among the teens. On 24-5-2008, Saturday, a Swift car came and stopped near Vaheeda Medicals in MVP colony, Visakhapatnam, India. A lady came from the shop, talked to the people in the car, went back to the shop and came out in two minutes,with injections and injection bottles. As she was handing over the injections, a task force police jeep came and stopped near the car. The lady was arrested.

4. The police also caught a 17 years old girl and another boy who were at that time taking the unauthorized injections. Next day morning, drug inspector Mr. R. UdayaBhaskar raided the shop; found many unauthorized dealings and seized the shop. Some medicines, which are very necessary to give relief from pain or suffering, are also having addictive potential. These medicines, which were caught in this incident, the Spasmoproxyvon capsules, fortwin injections, corex bottles, cough syrup containing codeine phosphate, and nitro sun.

5. Those who suffer from severe pain in the stomach are prescribed spasmoproxyvon. But the medical shop people should not give them without prescription.

7. Mental Health People might think that using certain drugs will help them to relax and forget about the things that are causing them stress. However, changing the way the body and mind work with drugs is a stress in itself, and they could experience tension, anxiety, paranoia and other symptoms which only add to the feelings of stress.

Physical Health When a person is under the influence of drugs they might find themselves doing things that they wouldn't' normally do which can increase their chance of getting hurt or having an accident. Drug-related injuries can come from things like fights, falling over, and car accidents. Heavy use of some drugs can damage the liver. The brain, lungs, throat and stomach can be damaged by drug use too. You can also catch other infections from sharing things like pipes or bongs.

9. Solution to drug abuse case Because the drug abuse case can cause a fatal damage to the environment, children at home must be guided and observed inside or outside the house. In conclusion, although the problem of drugs may seem impossible to eliminate, there are concrete steps that can be taken to weaken the hold of drugs on society. The danger from drugs is too great to ignore.
