Scan Fax FTP Server Scan or fax Patient Demographic Sheets & Superbills to Billing Office SVMT Coding Coding done using CPT, HCPCS and ICD codes with the medical records received. Claim Transmission EDI Claims Paper Claims Remote printing: Billing Office transmits EDI claims and print Paper claims at Physician Office.
3. EOB POSTING & DENIAL ANALYSIS Physician Office prints Secondary Paper Claims and Patients statements after posting primary insurance payments. We enter insurance payments, contractual adjustments and transfers co-insurance. Billing Office takes action on the unpaid claims. Scan Fax FTP Server Scan or fax Patient Demographic Sheets & Superbills to Billing Office SVMT Secondary Claims Patient Statements Denied Claims We follow up on Denied Claims. Billing Office calls insurance for any issues which can be resolved verbally and reprocess the claims for payment. We do write Appeals to insurances for Denied Claims which cannot be resolved verbally. After 30 days Billing Office follows up on Appeals sent and also refiles the claim if required.
4. COLLECTION PROCESS We will take action on the calls made to the insurances. Sends any requested information to the insurance company and also re-file the claims if required SVMT will run the Insurance & Patient Aging Report every fortnight We will make calls to Insurance companies on the outstanding claims by claim age (oldest to newest) and also based on insurance filing limit We will segregate the claims based on the Aging days of the claim such as 30, 60, 90 and over 90 days. We will send the second statement after 30 days of the first statements and third statement after 30 days of the latter. After 3 statements sent to Patient, Billing Office calls patient for the outstanding balance and sends the Final Demand Letter. We will continue patient collections based on the individual Provider agreement.
