  5. Instead of a one or two time connections, You build a life-long relationship You’re building friendships!
  6. Instead of a stack of business cards, You have people you talk to regularly
  7. Instead of quick, surface communication, You have in-depth, sincere conversation. You get Real!
  8. Group Activity?
  9. Open it up for discussion with flip charts
  10. a full-blown pit stop consists of the following -- changing four tires, adding a full tank of Sunoco racing fuel, wiping the grille clean and making minor adjustments to the car. Oh, and the really good team can accomplish all of that in 12 seconds It’s all about having the right people in the mix in order to have a great team!
  11. Ask these questions
  12. Are they active in associations or organizations that may give them access to leaders or decision makers? Having key community influencers is key!
  13. You should seek those who LOVE and are Enthusiastic about their work or community
  14. Now that you know the people you want it’s time to charm, know when you have to focus on your personal brand for business development. Because of social media the lines between personal and professional brands blur….make sure your brand fits both!
  15. Group activity Take a few minutes to answer these questions?
  16. Exercise to build various elevator pitches using different scenarios
  17. Look up Lindsey Fox Why do you do what you do? Thinking about the future of your business what are you most excited about?
  18. Introduce yourself briefly share your personal branding statement and say “enough about Me, I’m interested in hearing about you?” I go to the individual….loop people in.
  19. Listen with your eyes! Share the focus don’t look beyond to seeing who’s coming next
  20. Why do you do what you do? Thinking about the future of your business what are you most excited about?
  21. Except for Drs or Lawyers everyone else LOVES to share what they do….AND you can get some great information!
  22. Share the example of the most connected person in Champ county…..the quite connector!
