2. Publishing
• I shall publish my magazine once a month this
is reflected in my market research and I want
my magazine to be good quality and appeal to
collectors with there being only 12 (plus
specials) per year.
• My price will be £4.95 which I think is a good
price for a monthly magazine as my target
audience will be able to afford it shown in my
research.
3. Genre
• My whole magazine will be focusing on
influential British bands of previous eras, such
as Pulp, Beatles and Queen.
• It will focus of many Genres the main two
being Brit Pop and Classic Rock. This means my
magazine will appeal to a wide range of people
and reflect my research. My magazine will have
a contemporary feel to draw in new readers
and feature bands that were inspired by the
featured bands.
4. Reader Profile
Alexander is 18 from Sheffield and works in a local record
shop. He has always grown up listening to music, he is a big
fan of Pulp and queen. On a weekend he is pretty relaxed and
hangs out with his friends listening to music. He feels the
music talks to him and he feels he can relates to the lyrics. He
spends most of his earnings on Vinyl records and films. He is
also fan of classic cinema. When he buys a music magazine he
wants to hear about what his favourite bands are doing now
and he loves reading articles about the lyrics behind his
favourite songs, he is always wanting freebies from his
magazine even if it’s a cut out from the pages themselves,
which is why he buys it monthly and willing to pay for the high
quality price of Яebel.
6. Colour Scheme

The Reason I chose these colours is because of my British
theme running through my magazine and these are the three
main colours in the Union Jack. Also Primary contrast well
together, meaning my magazine will stand out on the shelf and
be easily recognisable.
The colours also work well in the RAF Roundel
