2. CONQUISTADORS OF THE AMERICAS
Pedro De Alvarado explored Chiapas and Guatemala from 1519-1521
Hernando Cortes explored Honduras and Mexico from 1518-1522, He also led
the Spanish troops in the conquering of the Aztec Empire.
In order for a Spanish Conquistador to be able to participate in exploration,
discovery, colonization, and conquest in the Americas he had to first prove
himself. This was a process that required them to submit royal documents to the
king as proof of merit.

3. CONQUISTA DE MEXICO POR CORTES
There was an epic battle between Spanish Troops and Mexican Defenders.
This Battle led to the fall of Tenochtitlan
The Spanish troops had superior military resources
Hernando Cortes was a Spanish Conquistador that led the expedition that led to
the fall of the Aztec Empire
