Child care is very important for children, families and
economy. Child care subsidy help families in financial need
with the cost of child care, provides more equitable access
to high-quality early learning and child-care programs, and
enables more families to access child-care subsidy are our
mission.
As child care fees are very expensive according to the
children's age, more families cannot afford the fee for their
children. About 20,000 children in Toronto are waiting for
daycare subsidies, most of them are waiting for the subsidy
for long time. We believe every child has equal opportunity
to go to quality child care.
