Segregate daily waste into wet and dry.
Wet waste – compost @ home / apartment complex or give it to waste picker daily.
Dry waste – sell it to scrap dealer or dry waste collection center or give it to waste picker
on the designated day for dry waste collection.
Sanitary waste – wrap it in newspapers by marking a cross with red ink & hand it over to
waste picker.
Medical waste – store it separately & hand it over to designated medical waste collectors.
5. step II
If any of your neighbors are not segregating their
waste, convince them to segregate their waste.

Check if the waste picker is carrying the segregated
waste in separate bins.
If s/he is mixing the segregated waste, inform the
supervisor or the contractor for your ward/area.
7. step IV

inform the supervisor immediately.
