Sumavisos.com Closes First Round of Financing
Buenos Aires, Argentina, August 11th, 2009 – Sumavisos.com, a classified search aggregator for the
Hispanic market announced that they've successfully closed their first round of financing led by
angel investors Damien Voltes and Ariel Arrieta, allowing to continue to improve their search
technology and regional expansion.

About Sumavisos
Sumavisos was founded in December 2007 by Gabriel Gruber, Martín Sarsale and Damián
Martinelli with the idea of simplifying the process of looking for a house, after one of the founders
found his new house by creating an algorithm that would automatically search classifieds across
many different sites, filtering the results by the type of home and neighborhoods he was interested
in.
Sumavisos was created to allow users to do just one search that incorporates the most important
auto, real estate, and job‐related classified sites in each market. Additionally, the site experience is
designed to provide a number of value‐add information for the user, such as a Maps API for real
estate, a measure of the average price per square foot of similar properties in the area, avg price per
car model, and the ability to save ads and receive e‐mail alerts when an ad appears that the fits the
users criteria.
In 2008, Sumavisos was selected as the winner of the "Buenos Aires Emprende" Program, receiving
a grant from the Great City of Buenos Aires, with the support of IAE's Entrepreneurship Center.
Sumavisos already has more than a million ads indexed, and is currently available in Argentina,
Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Spain.

About the Investors
Damián Voltes is a serial investor in Internet and a venture capitalist. Currently he is CEO and
Founder of Patagonia Venture, a venture capital fund focused on early stage startups in
Telecommunications, Internet, Media, and Entertainment, mainly in Latin America.
Ariel Arrieta is a serial entrepreneur and an angel investor. He is current a Senior Advisor to .FOX
Networks (a News Corp Company), and shareholder and angel investor in a number of start‐ups
such as Nextperineces.net on OnTrade.net.
