Nǎ is a question word that means “which.”
“nǎ guó rén” is an interrogative phrase used to ask
what someone’s nationality is.

(I am a French.)
In Chinese, the character 国 guó means “country, nation.” 国 guó is
placed after a single character to form a country name, as in 美国
měiguó (USA) or 中国 zhōngguó (China). If there are two or more
characters, is not used, as in 加拿大 jiānádà (Canada) and 日本
rìběn (Japan).
Simply add 人 rén after the country to indicate a person from that country.
