evolutionary period.

3. WORLD OCEAN
The interconnected body of water on the earth’s
Surface comprising all ocean, is called the world ocean.

4. PACIFIC OCEAN
It is the largest and deepest ocean.
Pacific ocean has the largest number of islands.The
number is about 20000.
It is more than 1/3 of the earth’s surface.
It has a broad triangular shape.
It contains largest volume of water on the earth

5. ATLANTIC OCEAN
 Atlantic ocean is bounded by Europe and Africa to
the east and the American’s in the west.
 Atlantic ocean that surrounds green lands.
 It is the wider towards the south and narrow in the
north.
 A strange feature of the Atlantic is mid Atlantic ridge.
 The chief industrial nations of the world are on the
cost Atlantic.

6. INDIAN OCEAN
 Indian ocean is bounded by Australia and the east in
indies on the east and by Africa on the west , Asia on
the north.
 There are very few islands in the Indian ocean.
 Coral islands ,Lakshadweep and Mali island are in
this ocean.
 It is the third largest ocean.
 India and Sri Lanka divided the Indian ocean in to
Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal.
