image your entrants will see when they

provide a few details on the contest and a
call to action like ‘Enter Now’ or ‘Learn
More’ as clicking the image will take them
to the contest (unless otherwise specified in
the contest builder).

Facebook > Facebook Tab:

Facebook Page’ radio button and upload an
image for you Tab.
Alternatively you can use custom HTML.

Fan-Gate: Allowing only those who ‘Like’ your
Facebook Fan Page to enter your promotion
is also known as ‘Fan-Gating’. Essentially, you
will display different images for Facebook
fans and non-fans; only fans can access your
promotion.
In the Strutta builder > Integration >
Facebook > Facebook Tab > Fan-Gate:
Here, you will have two options for setting up
your Fan-Gate Tab. You can upload the
images that link through to your promotion,
or you can create custom pages using HTLM.
For best results the images or pages should
be 810px wide and your choice of length.
Image & HTML for non-fans: This should
communicate that you must like the page to
enter.
Image & HTML for fans: This should include a
call to action for those who already Like your
page, such as ‘Click to Enter’.

5. User Flow: Facebook Page App
A Page App loads within a tab on
your Facebook Page. This is a
popular option as it is one less click
for users to access your promotion
from your Page than a Canvas App.
User Flow:
1. User arrives on your Facebook
page and clicks on the contest/
sweepstakes icon from the list of tabs
at the top of your page.

are fan-gated, non-fans see a 'Like us
to proceed' graphic.
3. Once they ‘Like’ your Page, if
they are an existing fan, or if you have
chosen not to fan-gate the App, then
they are presented with the promotion
home page directly within the tab.
