PROCEDURE/ How to conduct the test
âąThe athlete warms up for 10 minutes
âąThe athlete lies on the ground, places their
hands by the shoulders and straightens the
arms - see Figure 1 (start position)
âąThe athlete lowers the body until the elbows
reach 90° (see Figure 2) and then extends the
arms to return to the start position
âąThe athlete continuous this press-up action,
with no rest, until they are unable to continue
âąThe assistant counts and records the number
of correctly completed press-ups
