This document discusses different types of information systems used in businesses from functional and constituency perspectives. It describes enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems that integrate key business processes. Supply chain management (SCM), customer relationship management (CRM), and knowledge management systems (KMS) are discussed. The roles of intranets and extranets in sharing information internally and with suppliers/customers are also summarized.
