2. All white room
We will film our opening scene in a plain white
room. We want a plain white room because it
shows isolation as the character being filmed
will be alone and isolated from everyone else.
3. Desk
We need a desk for the opening scene. This prop
plays a very significant role showing the
audience what the character does. We will use
this desk to show that the character uses his
desk to do a lot of work trying to reach his goals.
4. Computer
The computer will be a very important prop
because it will help us show the audience what
the film will be about. We need the computer to
show the type of research the character does. We
can get up news articles and clips to give the
audience a glimps of what is going on.
5. Clock
We need a clock in our opening scene. This prop will
show the audience that time is very valuable. We need
this prop to show the audience that time is running out
and that the character has a time limit which he has to
reach his goals by.
6. Newspapers
We need newspaper articles to show the extent of the
problem. We will need over exaggerated titles and
articles to show the audience that there is a very big
problem that needs to be solved.
7. Paper
We need a lot of paper to show how much work
he is doing trying to solve the problem. We need
to stick paper on the wall full of leads on how to
cure the virus. This will show the stress that he is
going through and how much pressure he is
under.
8. Rubix Cube
Our character will have a disorder called savant.
This disorder gave the character extreme
intelligence. The rubix cube will show the
audience how clever he really is. Completing the
rubix cube at a fast pace will show the audience
this.
10. Black Clothing
The character acting in the film will be wearing
all black cloths. We need him to wear black
because he will stand out in the white room. This
will show the significance he has in the film. Also
the colour black will show elegance,
sophistication and mystery in the character.
