Punctuality and Attendance
It is important to be at school on time every day
(there will be a tutor group competition for the
best tutor group punctuality every week)
It is equally important for you to have maximum
attendance. Remember, one missed day per
week for five years, is the same as missing a
whole year of school!

Anything that happens once to disrupt the
lesson for others. You will be given a warning in
the lesson so make sure you listen and respond
to instructions, otherwise you will face a
sanction at the end of the day..

Repeated behaviour that disrupts the lesson
Repeated means more than once!
20 minute detention with me at the end of the
day for each concern. Two behavour concerns and you will
receive a detention after school with senior management.

Concern = 20 minute detention with me at the
end of the day.
If you misbehave in a lesson you may be sent
outside or to another room to cool off.
For more serious incidents parents will be called
or students can be placed on report or internally/
externally excluded.

Task: You have four minutes to get into a
perfectly straight line, in order of surname (A’s at
the front, Z’s at the back).
Your teacher will now check if you have it right.

behind you. You will line up like this for every
lesson with you tutor group and assemblies.
