• DRESS: artists are dressed in stylish, fashionable
mainstream outfits.
• SPEECH: artists are portrayed as happy. The lyrics
are usually based on love and relationships.
Bands usually express the unity associated with
teens as teens are the main target audience.
• COLOURS: show a positive vibe, therefore mainly
bright and bold colours. Even POP magazines
have bright and bold colours which associate with
positive vibes.
