For example, the red roses symbolize love and the white ones represent peace. Who was St. Valentine? St. Velentine was a rebel. In 270 marriage was forbidden but the bishop Valentine was against that and that’s why he was killed on 14th february. Why is it celebrated on 14th February? Because that is the date when St. Valentine was killed.
