Fun formative assessment
1. Fun Formative Assessment…
ONLINE EDITION
• What is formative assessment?
Formative assessment is done as students learn to see if adjustments need
to be made to instruction while summative assessment is done at the end
(i.e. semester tests, EOC’s).
2. Why use online formative
assessment tools?
Online formative assessment can be a quick, easy, and fun way to assess
student learning.
Most kids have a cell phone. For those that don’t, they can partner up with
someone, or you can give them a chrome book, netbook, or iPad to use.
Some of the following tools allow you to export student scores for grading
purposes.
