2. The students will learn the different phases of
the moon.
3. The teacher will use Oreo cookies to represent
the phases of the moon. After the teacher
demonstrates it she will then pass out paper
plates and the students will label the phases.
Then give each student seven Oreo’s and let
them begin to make their own phases.
4. Students will go to

oon/shape.htm to review the moon phases and
why it changes. On this website go to
introduction phases, shapes of the moon, and
time to see each phase. After the students
review this they need to go to take the moon
challenge.
