2. 記錄過許多知名人、事、物的導演，這回將攝影機對準自己的兩個兒
子，從童言童語到敏感浮躁的青少年時期，她的鏡頭見證了許多珍貴
的第一次，同時也捕捉到兄弟、親子之間，既親密卻又疏離，濃郁得
化不開卻又脆弱至極的微妙情結。身為母親的導演，透過影像銘刻這
八年的互動與體悟，成為一部時間魔法的家庭詩篇。
Markus (14) and Lukas (11) live in an old, yellow townhouse in Oslo. Here
the brothers grow up with their dreams and longings for the future.
Markus loves football and wants to be a professional. Lukas is the
philosophical one and likes to think all kinds of thoughts. This close and
personal documentary about childhood and brotherhood is filmed by
their mother in a period of five years.

如公路電影般，精準冷靜的鏡頭隨著水罐車巡訪巴西各村落，荒涼的
風景中，貧苦民眾排隊等候取水的無奈神情，彷彿一幅肅穆的悲歌素
描。乾旱是天災，但水資源的分配不公又算什麼：「在這裡水是黃
金」、「水是給人們用的，還是給少數有錢牧場飼養牲畜用的？」導演
曾以《法與情》獲得2004 TIDF首獎。
Drought takes us through the arid landscape of the Brazilian Sertão. The
camera accompanies a water truck through several villages while it
supplies the local population with water. The result is a documentary
road movie full of powerful images, revealing aspects of the ‘drought
industry’ and an extremely pressing issue: water scarcity.

一則令人動容的憂鬱傳說。一名叫東東的輟學生，年幼便跟隨著他的
母親，輾轉停留於不同的農場，經歷的許多艱困和辛苦，使他無法順
利地完成小學學業，農場的動物、作息、工作，成為他童年回憶的全
部。影片所描繪的並不是個案，而是一段屬於我們這個時代的故事，
關乎農工、漁工、移工們的勞動與生命。
An out-of-school Subanen boy named Dondon went to Sitio Tangalan in the
barangay of Kawayan to work in a rubber plantation. At a tender age, he
was already exposed to hardship and toil being a son to a seasonal harvester.
This is a coming-of-age story, the contractual farm workers’ saga, the
fisherfolks’ way of life and everything in between told in a free-flowing yet
melancholic manner.

中年大叔相信祖先是兩百年前的伊朗英雄，因此他的名字才叫做英
雄。三年前祖先托夢，要他找回象徵尊嚴的傳家斗篷，以重振家族名
聲。於是他在小鎮流連，甘願當起賣藝的街頭藝人，不慎打跑了老婆
的他，兩個稚子也學起雜耍，一則奇趣又殘酷的小人物英雄夢。導演
曾以《我的狐狸電影夢》入圍2014 TIDF。
A middle-aged man, whose ancestor was the first hero of an ancient
Iranian town two hundred years ago, had a dream of his ancestor asking
him to find the cloak he lost to his opponent in his last wrestling match
and to restore the family’s honour. A street performer of heroic acts, the
man has been looking for the trace of his ancestor's cloak in near and
far villages for three years.
在城市裡安睡一晚竟是莫大幸福的真實寓言。一個人分享在夜晚的生
存之道，地鐵、公園椅、停車場、中隔島，還要小心佔地盤的睡眠黑
幫；另一個人在橋墩下開設「睡眠電影院」，半夢半醒間意識到自己休
憩在一部電影裡多麼令人心安。貧窮到一無所有，苟延殘喘也要堅決
詩意，對生命的無言控訴莫過於此。
Cities of Sleep takes us into a heady world of insurgent sleeper’s communi-
ties as well as the infamous ‘sleep mafia’ in Delhi where securing a safe
sleeping spot often becomes a question of life and death for many people.
The film trails the lives of Shakeel, a renegade homeless who has slept in a
diverse range of improvised places, and Ranjeet, who runs the ‘sleep-cinema’
community.

4. 大路朝天 The Road

2009年，一條綿延近百公里的高速公路在湖南動工，在高速現代化的
進程下，導演潛伏三年，從旁觀察其中的民工、包商、官員與當地居
民的生存境遇。在這條公路拔地而起之際，也伴隨著各式頻繁的工安
事故、抗爭、黑幫介入，山河、歷史、文化亦被破壞殆盡，宏大建設
的奇景最終落成，時代的寓言荒誕而慘烈。
For more than three years, the director filmed the making of a section of
a highway through a quiet village in Hunan, a province in central China
where Chairman MAO was born. Local villagers and temples are forced
to move and migrant workers endure very difficult working conditions,
while the management of the construction company wants their share
of the financial apple.

風車詩社，是台灣1930年代出現的現代文學詩人團體，反映了20世紀
西方現代主義進入亞洲，先到日本、再至台灣的文化移動路徑，亦經
歷了日治中期、皇民化運動、國民政府來台與二二八事件。這部獨特
的散文電影全片以重演與檔案影像構成，以豐富素材再現時代視覺與
詩人的精神圖像，娓娓道來歷史的艱難。
After forty years of Japanese colonial rule, Taiwan’s first modern art
group, Le Moulin Poetry Society, emerged in the 1930s with their poetic
protest against the colonial power’s cultural superiority. Regarding the
Surrealists as their absolute role models, Le Moulin poets composed
poetry in an uncompromising and sophisticated style to confront the
turbulent era they lived in.

挖玉石的人 Jade Miners

2012年底，緬甸軍政府與少數民族克欽獨立軍開戰後，許多原本簽訂
了合約、合法開採玉石的財團被迫停止，綿延上百公里的玉礦區變成
戰區。緬甸各地的工人，湧入克欽省玉礦區，冒著被軍警逮捕、被土
石掩埋的風險，只為挖到上等玉石，過上好日子。片中低限偷拍的拍
攝方式，也意味著礦區中的某種日常。
In the end of 2012, when the Burmese army waged a war on Kachin
Independence Army (KIA), many corporations working with the government
on jade mining in the area were forced to stop their operation. Workers from
all over the country flocked to the jade mines in Kachin State to dig illegally
for jade. They risked their lives for a piece of valuable jade that will transform
their lives.

5. 灣生畫家─立石鐵臣 Wansei Painter - Tetsuomi Tateishi

灣生，即日治時期出生於台灣的日本人。畫家立石鐵臣，1905年出生
於台灣，曾親歷台灣戰後的秩序混亂，他在台期間的作品，記錄了台
灣風土、人情和民俗。本片以獨特觀點切入二戰前後的台灣歷史，透
過孫女旁白、遺留畫作與當事者的親身證言，追索政治、經濟、家庭
之於其創作的影響，耗費近十年終於完成。
TATEISHI Tetsuomi was born in Taiwan during the Japanese colonial
period in 1905. He was once regarded a promising painter, but his
achievements were to be forgotten when he was repatriated to Japan at
the end of WWII and lost most of his paintings. This film reveals his
ambition and struggle and reflects the dramatic political, cultural and
social change in Taiwan.

鏡頭凝視一位深居山中的太魯閣族耆老，他開始以最熟悉的語言，緩
緩道來自己的生命經驗與歷史記憶，過往的檔案影像宛如回憶穿插其
中，真實的生命樣貌變得不再單純。歷來的統治政權在台灣島嶼留下
許多痕跡，也帶來文化上的影響，親身經歷這一切的原住民族，如何
才能以「正名」的主體姿態參與其中。
2013年，伊朗總統大選前，電視不停播放新聞報導與評論。在自己的
客廳裡，他們不免談及2009年的綠色革命，那年同樣是總統大選，但
結果卻成為選民心中的傷痕；在希望、憤怒和眼淚之中，他們還得確
保自己不會入鏡，拍攝者也不能曝光，一切像是神祕共謀，逐步揭開
這個國家的恐懼與真實。
Tehran, June 2013. Massed in front of their TV, the Iranian people
comment on the presidential campaign broadcast by national channels.
After the post-election riots in 2009, do they still believe in politics? In
the privacy of their homes, facing state propaganda and images of the
West, Egypt or Syria, women and men freely talk about their hopes,
anger and fears.
For hundreds of years, Taiwan has been under different colonial rules.
Each regime left their footprints on this island. Only the indigenous
people of this island experienced them all. They were given different
names during different periods of colonisation and their cultures have
been changed. Through the life of a Truku elder, we see the history of
aboriginal recertification movement.

迴登場，不止歇地穿梭於奧地利冬日地景。漂泊者的家庭意義，永遠
在路上。
This film follows circus director and ringmaster Emil and his little circus
from one village to the next, through the Austrian winter landscape. It
reveals the endless routine of circus life and the personal lives of the
circus director and his family. We meet his jovial partner and their ten
circus children, who joke about their lives and indiscretions.

The most destructive violence is that perpetrated by the one you love. In
France, one in seven women suffers from violence at the hands of their
partners. In this sensitive film and intimate portrait, Arielle, Christine and
Michèle tell what they have not said to their nearest and dearest, to help
us see what is not visible. They offer us vitality, courage and hope.

搭上聯合國的救援列車，以23天的影像日記，直視令人不忍卒睹的真
相慘況，完成震撼人心的非洲首部曲。
After the massacre perpetrated on the Tutsis in 1994, tens of thousands
of Hutus fled to Zaire, and many of them never returned. These ‘forgotten’
refugees were living in poverty thousands of miles from home, plagued
by famine, disease and attacks by various armed militias. This film leads
us to the ‘heart of darkness’, the same place where Joseph CONRAD
wrote his novel a century ago.

的景象，中國石油公司、聯合國維安部隊、蘇丹軍閥與美國傳教士，以

When Sudan, Africa's biggest country, is being divided into two nations,
an old ‘civilising’ pathology re-emerges - that of colonialism, clash of
empires, and yet new episodes of bloody (and holy) wars over land and
resources. The director takes us on a dizzying, science fiction-like journey in
his tiny, self-made flying machine out of tin and canvas.

As the Egyptian people rise up in Tahrir Square, rural villagers in the
south are watching the revolution on TV. From the overthrow of
MUBARAK to the fall of MORSI, the film follows the upheavals through
the eyes of Farraj, a peasant in the Nile valley near Luxor. In the daily life
of the farmer, between hopes and disappointments, change is a long
time coming.

As a group of refugees tries to enter Europe illegally by boat, a storm
suddenly appears and all hell breaks loose when an old man falls
overboard. His perception shifts into a dark, hallucinatory place. Driven
by a mysterious power and desperately in search of his loved ones, his
soul passes by the everyday reality of many castaway refugees at the
border of the alleged paradise, Europe.

23-year-old Soo-vin is a free-spirited only child brought up in a conserva-
tive, honourable artist family. She was having the time of her life until
she finds out that she is unwantedly pregnant. She finds herself sudden-
ly become the victim of a crazy role-playing circus, being a mother, a
wife, a daughter-in-law, and the breadwinner of her new family.

2014年香港的雨傘運動，除了各組織的青年領袖外，還有更多無名者
深入其中。二十段影像備忘，是一群青年以「我們」為出發點的抗
爭，當中經歷團結與分歧、希望與失落、勇敢與膽怯。在正面衝突的
背後，他們總是在尋找一個自己能參與抗爭的方式，並追索著一個更
為核心的問題：「我」如何成為「我們」？
Besides the student leaders who have been actively involved in the 2014
Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong, there have been many unsung
heroes supporting the movement in different ways. This film contains
twenty memorandums which recorded the story of a group of young
people struggling to fight for their own future, with ups and downs
along the way.

厭倦城市生活的木暮老夫婦，隱居到人煙稀少的上信越深山裡，那裡
素有雪國之稱。縱然與凜冬搏鬥是如此嚴苛，他們修復老茅房屋頂、
栽種起有機稻米，笑看鄰居以山櫻花染紗線為女兒織出成年式的和
服，慢活人生如此，夫復何求？然而，某個春天清晨，地震突來，木
暮決心重振他們與世無爭的生活……
KOGURE and his wife moved from Tokyo to snowy rural Japan. When
they restore an abandoned paddy, they excavate an old irrigation
system, which connects them with the lost ways of rural life. It is one of
the serendipitous moments that make everything worthwhile for them.
With the arrival of winter, the whole village is frozen over, but KOGURE
and company know how to enjoy life.

孩子的村子 Children’s Village

2012年初，冬天，拍攝《饑餓的村子》、《吃飽的村子》的導演再度回
村採訪，同時為「三年饑餓」逝者進行村中募捐，建立紀念碑。村子
裡一群10歲到15歲的孩子自願加入，端著攝影機走近老人，詢問、統
計、募捐……他們第一次在學習和了解自己村子的歷史。這三部片構
成鄒雪平的「鄒家村系列」。
This film is the third of the People’s Memory Project. In the beginning of
2012, I began gathering statistics of deaths during the Three Year
Famine. Children of ten to fifteen years old voluntarily joined me. Taking
the video camera I gave them, they visited the old folks, interviewing
them and gathered statistics. This project gave them the first opportuni-
ty to learn about and appreciate their village’s history.
吃飽的村子 Satiated Village

觸碰一段不被珍視的歷史，會發生怎樣的後果？導演完成了農村老家
的大饑荒紀錄片《饑餓的村子》後，邀請受訪者參與放映，卻遭到全家
反對，家人都擔心此事「會犯錯誤」，只有九歲的姪女支持……當慘絕
人寰的饑荒過去，五十年後，肚子吃飽了，日子也好過多了，但這個
村子的精神是否依然還在饑餓中？
In ZOU Xueping’s first feature, The Starving Village, ZOU interviewed residents of
her hometown about their experiences during a famine that killed tens of
millions. In this follow-up, ZOU tries to screen the film in her village, only to
meet resistance from family and neighbours fearful of official reprisal.
Undeterred, ZOU uses her camera to mediate her hometown’s ability to
confront its tragic past, with near miraculous results.
傻子的村子 Foolish Village

這是我第五次回到出生長大的村子，我這個在外上過大學的孩子，在
回村的路上，總是被質疑和另眼相看。被人稱為「傻子」的西柱爺爺
和被看不起的增祥嬸嬸走進我的生活，他們純真和奇特的思維讓我重

As someone who left her village for college, I was always judged by the
village people whenever I returned. But Xizhu, who was called a ‘fool’,
and Zengxiang, who was looked down by others, walked into my life
and made me think about my village in a new way. In this ordinary
village, who are the ‘normal’ people? In those ‘normal’ people’s eyes,
am I another fool?

In a primary school in a tough, outlying area of Paris, where teachers
burn out steadily, five young and relatively inexperienced teachers made
a commitment to stay. Five years later, they describe their lives in this
school and what they dream of building.

It all started with a picture taken in 1974 in Lisbon, just after the
Portuguese Revolution. She tries to enter in that picture as if she could
enter into a time she didn't belong and finally understands what it
means to fight for a country.

No pictures, only font. No protagonists, only Steffi, a computer voice.
Not the fate of an individual, but a portrait of a group. The film shows
the everyday life of blind people, their clash with sighted people and
small mean things on both sides.

My grandpa's past was always very present. It would break through in
something he'd say or do, but he'd never talk about it. Only now, by
revisiting his life and personality, as I knew him, do I feel the weight of
his inheritance.

On 3 September 1986, the Taipei District Court disregarded LIN Cheng-chieh’s
legislative immunity and sentenced him to eighteen months in prison on
charges of defamation. LIN decided not to challenge the ruling; he broke
through police barricades and angrily threw a bell towards the presiden-
tial office, signifying the death knell of justice. He then began a 12-day
protest on the streets.
On 27 February 1987, residents of Shui Yuan Village barricaded the
front gate of LCY Chemical Corp factory, who was polluting the ground-
water. On the 100th day of their protest, Hsinchu Mayor promised to have
police stationed there. But the factory tried to secretly ship out their
product. Pushed to the limit, the villagers built a wall with concrete and
vowed never to be fooled again.

1986年11月30日，流亡海外的許信良計劃搭機闖關回台，民進黨發動
群眾前往機場接機，與大批軍警發生對峙。軍警數度以水柱和催淚彈
驅散群眾，雙方發生衝突。當年三家電視台，反覆播出群眾扔石畫
面，意圖抹黑。而本片於事件後迅速在全台民進黨競選總部播放，戳
破了官方謊言，也讓綠色小組一戰成名。
On 30 November 1986, leading opposition figure HSU Hsin-liang planned
to fly back to Taiwan after years of exile. The DPP called for a mass
mobilisation to welcome him at the airport but clashed with a large
number of police personnel trying to disperse the crowd with water
cannons and tear gas. In contrast to the biased reports on TV, this film is
a full coverage of the incident.

李長榮新竹化工廠污染地下水，水源里居民自1987年2月27日開始圍
堵工廠大門，展開自救行動。圍廠百日，全國反公害團體也來聲援。
而後市長承諾派人站崗，但工廠卻偷載走存貨，居民忍無可忍之下用
水泥砌起石牆，保衛家園不受汙染。本片是第二版本，曾在1987年10
月4日抗爭220天大會公開放映。

處林正杰一年半的刑責。林正杰決定不上訴，他在法院門口演說後，
突破警方封鎖跑向總統府，表達「向司法送終」的抗議。自此，展開
接連12天的街頭抗議。在當年不准集會遊行的戒嚴時期，他衝破禁
忌，開啟日後風起雲湧的社運抗議。

1988年5月20日，雲林農權會帶領數千名農民遊行前往立法院，抗議
政府漠視農民權益。當時部分農民為借廁所，而與警察發生衝突。入
夜後，遊行隊伍要求警方放人，憲警以警棍、水柱驅散，並逮捕多名
群眾。深夜學生靜坐聲援，也遭警方驅散逮捕，不離不棄的攝影機，
記錄下解嚴前後規模最大的群眾流血抗爭。
On 20 May 1988, Yunlin Farmers’ Rights Association took thousands of
farmers to the legislature in Taipei to protest against the government’s
indifference to farmers’ rights. Some farmers clashed with the police
when trying to enter for restroom. Several were arrested, leading to
fiercer clashes. Protesters demanding the release of the arrested were
dispersed with baton and water cannon.

本片為1988年後勁居民至經濟部舉辦「反五輕」說明會使用，匯整當
時一年多來，中油嚴重空汙、傾倒廢油汙染溪水、引發油氣爆炸等實
證畫面；居民四處陳情，甚至抬棺抗議。影片透過不同訪談，傳達在
地怒吼。自1987年6月，政府宣佈中油五輕計畫起，開始了後勁長達
25年從未停歇的抗爭。
This film was produced for a briefing to the Ministry of Economic Affairs
by the people of Houjin opposing China Petroleum Company’s fifth
naphtha cracker plant. It brings together scenes of pollutions caused by
the CPC over the previous year, interviews of the people affected, and
footage of a series of protests, including that of the residents carrying
coffins to the CPC facilities.

1988年7月1日，為落實勞基法，政府全面調漲客運票價，但資方意圖
將調漲所得納為己有。8月1日苗客工會發起車輛停駛以對抗剝削，但
罷工次日，資方開除罷工司機。經會員自救和工運團體聲援，資方最
終接受工會條件。本抗爭不僅創下23天罷工紀錄，也是台灣工運史
上，第一個合法的罷工行動。
On 1 July 1988, the government announced a nationwide increase for
intercity bus fares to fully implement the Labour Standards Act. In
protest of their employer, who tried to pocket the extra profit, members
of the Miaoli Transportation Union began a 23-day drivers’ strike in
August. The Union’s demands were eventually accepted. It was the first
legal strike in Taiwanese labour history.
